I could not enter, and still cannot enter bootmii from HBC without it freezing up. The one and only time I was able to get the white Priiloader screen was my last attempt. I am no longer able to get to that screen. I got there by pressing the reset button after attempting to load NSMB and getting the disk error. Not a single menu option in preloader yielded any results. "No hacks installed", or not available messages. Can't remember exact wording. It was more like it could not find files or data than an error...
How should I get into Priiloader? What files should be on my SD card?
Everything from chapter 3 should be on your sd-card. Why would that not be on the card? Put those file on the sd-card. Turn off the wii, hold reset, keep holding reset, push the power button, keep holding reset, keep holding reset, priiloader will load. Select system menu hacks, enable block disk and block online updates. Then test NSMB and other games.
If they don't work, install IOS60-64-v6174.zip and test them again. You are on 4.1, yes? if your not on 4.1, what are you on? If you one 4.1, install IOS70-64-v6687.zip

Sorry for so many questions I just like to know that everything is set for a strong foundation. Once again thanks for the quick reply and for this awesome tutorial. Have a nice day!
Just do the guide how it is written, you will be able to install anything you like when your done. You don't need to do anything extract, remove stubbes, restore trucha bug, etc, everything is taken care of.

Went into Priiloader and those 2 hacks were already enabled. NSMB still does not works, but Super Paper Mario and Mario Party 8 did.
Loaded IOS60-64-v6174: NSMB does not work, but SPM and Mini Ninjas does.
Loaded IOS70-64-v6687: NSMB does not work, but MN and Winter Olympic Games 2010 does.

What is strange is that NSMB did work before with the Wiikey 2, so clearly that function has been altered with the softmod. At least some games are working.
Question: Now that I seem to be getting at least somewhat more familiar with things, are the hacks always active? What I mean is, when I power up the WII I should be able to just insert the game and go Correct?

Mauifrog, thanks very much for your help so far. Any other thoughts or ideas?

Brand new to all of this and just bought my wii today actually. Ran through the guide and got everything installed correctly. In the system menu it is showing that I have 4.2u. When I try to run the Internet Channel or WiiShop channel it tells me there is a system update. I know not to run it (if it will even let me since I disabled it) but can someone tell me how I can get access to these channels? I've tried searching this thread but have come up with nothing.

    Thanks.

Have a look here under the channel update section. Just be careful with this app and do no uninstall anything and stay away from IOS70!!

OK, the hacks are always on unless they are bypassed by a reloader such as the one used in neogamma. Delete sd:\wad, then Extract IOS-Updates.zip to sd:\
    Extract IOS70-64-v6687.zip
    and IOS60-64-v6174.zip
    to sd:\
Load MMM again, select wadmanger, press 1 to install all wads.
Then press B two times to go back to the main menu of MMM, select ios manager
Install ios60-v6174 with patches from sd card
Install ios70-v6687 with patches from sd card
Install ios53-5406 with patches from sd card
Test out that NSMB, and have a look into usb loading.

The shop channel should have been updated during the mod, interesting that it would ask for update. Did you do the mod recently or a week or two ago?
You can install the updated wiishop and internet channel via wadmanger if you like. You also need ios61 updated, depending on when you did this guide you may need that to. You can use dop-mii v13 to install these, or the wads can be found here- http://www.wiihacks.com/submit-artic...nels-wads.html

Be sure to load MMM via bootmii launch from HBC using only the files provided in the guide and nothing else on the card.
Well, the part where you say:
    Part 1- Wad Installs
Start HBC, press [HOME], Launch Bootmii
    Multi-Mod Manager Starts (via cboot2)
It doesn't load into MMM, but just goes to the bootmii screen, so the only way I could load MMM again, was to load it from the SD Card (which I now see is wrong)
Does it make a difference that I couldn't install bootmii as boot2 but only as an IOS? And the Wii doesn't have boot2, but boot1 according to bootmii.

Phfiller, you can't see the file on the memory card on your PC but when you follow the instructions to load it from the SD card to the Wii it will be there.
