You obviously didn't finish the guide. Once the guide is done, it own't autoboot MMM.

sorry, i should have been more clear.

once i open up MMM to install a WAD, it wont let me out of MMM. when i choose to go to system menu it just boots up MMM again

also, if i ever need to get back into MMM i would have to reinstall my old bootmii folder. then i wont be able to exit mmm.

also, since i changed the bootmii folder to my backup bootmii folder, whenever i power down my wii and turn it on again i get stuck in the bootmii screen. how do i make it so that it autoloads the system menu?

How are you formatting the sd card?
Have a look here for sd compatability - The list is small at the moment but may help you make a decision if you decide on another sd card - http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...lity-list.html

This question has been asked so so many times. The answer is simply no. If there was then the first part of this guide involving the games wouldn't be here would it now...

Works on all 4.3 wiis, white wiis, blacks wiis, and red wiis.
Unfortunatly, there is no workable exploit for virgin 4.3k wiis at this time.

    Great tutorial!

Thanks for the wonderful tutorial. I managed to upgraded my softmodded v3.4 Wii by following all the steps carefully. Fortunately I stilled had a HBC installed, so it was easy.

I too had some issues with Prii loader freezing my Wii, but got it to work and I have been able to disable updates via games and internet. Kids-proof

I do not use a USB drive to run back-upped DVD's, but have a set of DVD that the kids can load. That still works fine, so the softmod seems to work (yes, I am not very into Wii hacking myself, I just follow the guide to the letter).

Recently I burnt two games from iso's I downloaded. Neither will play, but give "error 002". I read the FAQ section on "Error 002" and see that I am advised to install additional software; a newer 249(cIOS38rev17+) and am redirected to the "How to Use Waninkoko's cIOS Installer" topic.

Question: is that necessary? Does the installed software not cover all that is needed?

Could it be that the DVD's I have used are not good? The once I used before still work and only gave me 1 toaster with 25 burns. Unfortunately I can't find these no-name DVD's any more and had to buy other ones. Does a 002 error occur with the wrong loader or could it be the actual disk?

    Thanks for your answer!

I hope they were your own games stored online?

Error 2 can be fixed within the usb loaders gui/game settings...

"I hope they were your own games stored online?"

    Of course !!!

"Error 2 can be fixed within the usb loaders gui/game settings..."

Hey, that is new to me. Could you please be so kind to explain a bit more on how to do this.

    What I do:
    - start the Wii console
    - press A to the nag screen
    - load Backup Manager Gamma (it states 0.3 with ios 249)
    - and now normally select "load game".
    This gives error 002

Alternative is to load "Gamma 0.3 with 002 fix" from the home screen.
I tried this a minute ago and this load the Backup Manager again. Pressing the "load game option" now returns an new error; DVD error 349...

Reading the forum it suggests adding even more software.... brrrrrr

    What to do?
