To go along with my great wall of text a few pages back of things that should be modified/added to the guide, I think the warning about updating should have added to it, "If you have already updated to 4.3, this guide will still work for you"

Hi, and thanks for an excellent guide. I've modded five Wiis now successfully using guides on this site but this the first 4.3 I've tried for a friend. It's all working but without priiloader.
I installed it and got 'Chinese' characters and a frozen screen as said I might get so I didn't worry. It wouldn't boot back into priiloader by pressing start and preset but booted into mmm. So I set the hacks and restarted without the sd card inserted but all I got was a black screen and my tv saying no signal. I was worried I'd bricked my friends Wii. I got back into mmm with the sd card and uninstalled priiloader and it now works ok.
I've read through the guide several times but can't see if I did anything wrong. All wads installed without error and I didn't downgrade to 4.1
Is it safe to use it without priiloader? He's got no intention of turning on the internet or using original dvds. And I made a nand backup.
I wish this guide has a changelog in BOLD with Date of Last change. The latest WAD's should be updated as and when available along with the others apps...This will help a regular user to just check the date above and changelog which can says which all new wads are added...(priiloader 0.6 can also be added if stable)..
IT WORKED! MUCH THANKS!
I'm now successfully loading my games from my USB HDD.
