    download http://usbloader-gui.googlecode.com/files/r937.dol to sd:\apps\usbloader_gx\
    delete the boot.dol, rename r937.dol to boot.dol
    edit rev.txt, change the # to 937

Are you sure you have cios installed?

User makes somewhat of a legitimate point. cIOS-X is generally considered for advanced users. That being said, the author of this tutorial is indeed an advanced user. It's up to him which he chooses to support in his guide. Mauifrog may leave it as-is, or offer an alternative on the Rev 17 issue. This would best be addressed by him.

The cios is obviously not the problem. I would try to backup and format the sd-card, then install a fresh download of usbloader gx, see if that helps. The only issue I have seen with the new cIOS is its incompatibility with some apps that install to the nand, wadmanger, ARC, stuff like that. It is working just fine for me, so I would think that it should work for everyone. I will consider changing the cIOS, but I really don't think it is the issue, certainly not the issue below with usbloader gx.

Are you loading this usbloader gx from the HBC? Or do you have an old channel or forwarder installed?
