I converted an .iso to .wbfs, transferred the .wbfs file to the "wbfs" folder, turned on the Wii, and plugged the USB HDD into the back of the Wii. (This was the only way I could get the CFG-USBLoader to recognize the USB HDD) I attempted to load the game through the CFG-USBLoader when I received this error:

    ERROR:

I have a Black Wii that came with System Menu 4.3U
I browsed this forum and did not see an answer to this question. I have the same exact error. Did you ever find the solution.

I modded my 4.2u wii with this guide and it worked perfect. Then I am modding a friends 4.3u and everything worked fine till I tried to play the games on a fat32 formatted usb hd and I am getting the same error listed above. Does any one have a solution?

My Wii was previously set up with Homebrew on 4.1, I believe and had everything running to run Super Mario Bros. My sister upgraded to 4.3u because she's a control freak and anyways, I want to get my little brother some games because he's sick.

How do I go about this? Im confused on whether or not I NEED those original games to do this downgrade hack.

If I previously had my wii soft modded with a SD, what should be my first step? Just let me know where to start and I can take it from there. There are many options and I dont know which is best for me as I've previously hacked it.

You still need the games to softmod the wii again.

If you still have the hbc you can skip that step

    Hello,

I'm having some trouble getting a disc backup I made of COD Black Ops to work online. I've added a bunch of ports to the port forward list. Do I need to run a USB backup and then use Wiiflow? It's much more convenient for me to use the disc backup, as I have no usb hard drive. Any ideas??

    Thanks,
    Charlie

Thanks for the quick reply. I do NOT have the Homebrew channel, it seems to have been erased, and none of the data on my SD card is read by the Wii. The SD card IS recognized, but the data (shown below) is not.

If I cannot in any way re-hack it without the games, let me know and I will go buy one. Thanks for your help .

No if you don't have the hbc anymore then follow the entire guide

You still need the games but you can rent them you only need it once

    Trouble formatting the SD card

    Hello,

I decided to hack my Wii because I would like to play my NES and SNES roms. My Wii is version 4.3u and I am doing the hack with Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

I deleted the custom stages, backed out to the main menu, inserted the SD card, went back into the stage builder and nothing happens. I tried having the file in .zip form and extracted form. Neither have worked. My only thought as of what could be wrong is the way I'm extracting or formatting the SD card. I don't have access to a Windows based PC so I'm formatting the SD card via Disk Utility on my mac computer. Can someone tell me how to format the SD card using a mac computer?

    Thanks
