Thanks for the reply, but I have no idea how to get where your talking about. After following the guide whenever I turn the wii on it boots to MMM no matter what I press or hold. The only way I can bypass that is to take the SD card out and boot it and then put the sd card in.

Not sure if hte pri-loader even got installed because on that step the screen got all twisted and out of sync and the only way I could fix it was to reboot the wii and then it started with MMM and is now stuck. Do I need to try and re-install the priiloader or how can I tell if it even got installed at all?

I figured that I had to hold both the "reset" and "power" buttons for a few second, not just press "power" while holding "reset". Anyway, I successfully softmodded my Wii. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful guide.

USB HARD DRIVE NOT BEING RECOGNIZED BY LOADER.
I have followed this guide and "thanked" the poster! I would numerous times if I could as I have had great success with everything I have followed and tried here @ wiihacks
I have run into a problem however; probably small and most likely something I am just forgetting or missing. (The Wii & Hard Drive in question is a friends. I myself have moded my own Wii, backed up games on a usb HD and use it daily!)
(Wii in question is on 4.3u after a system update. After update I proceeded to mod. Used Indiana Jones method as I always have.)
The iomega Select desktop hard drive (1TB) is not being seen/recognized by the usb loader. The hard drive IS on the working hard drive list provided by Wiihacks staff.
It IS plugged into the bottom USB port on the Wii.
It IS formatted. Used WBFS Manager to do so. I also put one game on his iomega just to test it out and see if the HD works etc etc etc before we backup all of his games.
When I plug my own USB Hard Drive into his Wii it works fine, just like on my Wii.
The 1TB iomega Select Desktop Hard Drive is not being recognized by the USB loader.
I myself use a Seagate - 1TB - SO....this is the only factor that is different between my Wii setup and his.
Hard drive is good. Performed multiple tests.
Is there something I am missing to get it to read? After the HD is formatted properly and games are put onto it, all that I need to do at that point is plug it into the Wii and the USB Loader should read it, right?
I am stumped and I apologize in advance if the answer is literally right under my nose (on this site).

Guitar Hero 3 and 5 on modded 4.3E
Firstly thanks alot for this guide. I followed it and I could manage to softmod my new black wii on 4.3E. I didn't apply the AnyWii-AppPack as I want to use it with Wiiflow. I have already had a usb hdd which I use it with my older modded wii on 4.1E.
My games seem to work fine with modded 4.3E except Guitar Hero 3 and 5. Should I install cIOSX_rev19? If so, which ios (ios 249 on first screen then ios 37 as base ?) should I choose to install?
I'd be grateful if someone help me with it.
**** The problem is solved. I found the ios options in the game menu of Wiiflow and then changed to ios 223.

I am getting ready to hack my Wii, but I am having trouble downloading the ModPack-AnyWii.zip file. When I click the link, and input the password, it invites me to click the box to start the download - but then goes to a new page which says "HTTP 403 Forbidden".
I am using Internet explorer 8, Windows 7 & have registered on the mediafire site. I have tried many times without success, and have tried deleting internet temp files and cookies. Occasionally (about 20%), while I am inputting the password, my Norton 2011 internet security tells me it has resisted an attack - which seems to come from the Mediafire site. I am reluctant to turn off Norton.
Please could anyone help me.

Probably newbie question
I have two questions/comments about the procedure (Great GUIDE and I believe it works):
After priiloader installs, it may give error or freeze- this is ok
, it installed
Hold reset and boot wii while holding reset- priiloader will load
Select "System Menu Hacks"- Press A
Enable "Block Disk Updates", and "Block Online Updates", others if you like
4.3 wiis, enable "Bannerbomb" others if you like
Well it has freezed almost like loading a ZX Spectrum game in a black/white TV. is this expected? How can I know that it is workling?
And I didn't see no BannerBomb to enable..
About Darkcorp installation. I have runned all the procedure (without installing Darkcorp) and now I dediced to install it.
Format my card. unzip Darkcorp into my SD card. In Wii, run HomeBrew, press HOME key and lauch bootMii but nothing appeared.
How can i install it?

Can you guys tell me how long this whole process should take? I am getting a black screen after putting in the SD card (with startup files as posted)...selecting install homebrew.. after the next option my screen goes blank/black and the game slot light just flashes! is this still "working" or am I clicking to fast? seems all the videos I have watched..this process does not take long!
