when is select "manage priiloader-> edit priiloder hacks" theres the message "no hacks.ini on nand" and "no hacks found for system menu v385".
news: somehow, i managed to load the sys menu and priiloader, but theres a smiilar error... now im stuck in that mmm loop again... what can i do?

edit: solved it - had to upgrade to sysmenu 4.1 first...

How do you "accidentally" update, other than total abject failure to install Priiloader and enable the relevant hacks. You sure the SD card is compatible --- it must be full SD (no Micro in adapter, nor SDHC) and no larger than 2gb and fully / not quick formatted to FAT32. The game exploit requires the disc to be an original, of course and from the proper region.

So, this is where I am:

    OK.

    UsbGecko not found
No code found on load, hanging.

Please someone point me in the right direction. I would greatly appreciate it.
Itīs the SD card. make sure it isnīt sdhc card. Iīve seen these exact same error codes in another post
and it was an improper SD card.

Can't get Bannerbomb to load on 3.3e wii ?

    Noob needs Help.

Right I promised a friend I could softmod his wii running 3.3e firmware.

The first thing I did was connect it to my wifi internet connection which may have been the mistake I made. However I did not connect WiiConnect24 nor did I do an online system update.
The Problem- I have followed mauifrogs excellent 'softmod any wii' guide using the 3.1 - 4.1 bit but I cannot get it to load bannerbomb with any version, I tried about 8 versions of BBv1. It did once start to load but hit an error. At no stage since that does it recognise any boot.dol on the sd card. I don't currently have the twilight disc or I would try that. What I did try was to disconnect internet, format the wii, format the sd card (I am using the right type as it worked on a successful mod I've done since). Oh I found out after a few attempts that his Wii sports disc was still in the drive so I removed that.

Anyone got any suggestions as to what I try now?

    (Serial No LEH22701***)

    Cheers

Hi Mauifrog, Great Guide easy to follow, specially if a Newbie like me can do it.

However I do have a problem with my Wii which I hope you can help or provide guidence on.
I cannot play some of my USB HDD back up games , mainly Black Screens, which is the reason why I reloaded my NAND from my original softmod I then followed your guide from after the part where you copy your NAND and save it (Don't know if it was the way to go or not as I have been searching for possible solutions to my problem for a while). I was able to play all my back ups until I purchased COD Black Ops and had to update an IOS to allow me to play the original game disc via the Disc channel.

The USB loader I have tried are USB Loader GX, WiiFlow, And the one that you have used in your guide CFG-USBLoader. I have tried to reload IOS249 rev20 and others but i still had no solution, then reloaded the NAND and followed your guide.

I was hoping that completing your guide would re-install any corrupt IOS's, but I am still getting the same results with some of the Back ups.

Sorry for the Long Story but It is starting to do my head in I do not understand what I have done wrong?

    Hope you can help. Thanks

Update 27/12/10 All sorted formatted the USB HDD and reloaded my back ups. All games play and no black screens. Funny how it is always the last thing you try fixes things

It is me again. After a nice dinner, I am at Part 3 of Chapter2, "Install Priiloader". After I installed priiloader, my Wii frozed. I supposed to hold reset and boot wii. Does that mean press "power" while pressing "reset" on the console. I did that, bur nothing happened.

yes, it means hold reset, then hit the power button.
Since nothing happened sounds like priiloader wasn't installed. Try reinstalling it
if again nothing, try installing with a cios.
See the Thanks button over there?

This guide was a success. My only problem was running the latest Neogamma for dvd loading. I tried some new and very old games and still nothing. I tried installing some cios's but was unable to load them through my wad manager. I think I am missing cios 249 because my remote quits working. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong.

If you followed the whole guide you should have cIOS 249.

Be aware that some new wiis have a drive that won't read backups

I feel like an idiot. I forgot that this wii has the drive that will not read backups. I d3-2 drive. It looks like that I will be using the configurable usb loader. Can you help me find out why my wii remote will not work in loading wad manager?
