    Success

I did all as described in this guide and I succeeded! ... I succeeded with updated Wii from Nintendo and previously loaded HBC! I have to comment this guide; as it looks chaotic, it's not! Actually it's sistematic and smart written. Thank you!

    Cheers,

    Matija

    A couple questions:
-What's with the Optional Shop Channel Update?
-Are you sure that prii/preloader works with 4.3U? I could have sworn I read another thread that said it only works for up to 4.2...
-It says to hold the reset button while the wii boots to load preloader. Do I have to hold it the whole time, or only until it starts loading?
-I own a copy of Metroid: Other M. Can I use the neogamma channel to run it without updating my wii? (right now, if I put the disc in my wii it requires an update before running...)

    1. If you want to use the Shop Channel, it's not optional (necessary for Black Ops, as an example).
    2. You might've caught that on WiiJohn's guide (put out before 4.3 existed). If mauifrog says it works, then it works. Too much trouble to google, huh?
    3. You hold it til Priiloader shows up on the screen.
    4. You know there's a GUIDE on that title, right? I even blogged the guide awhile back.

if its of any significance, i have the darkcorp mod installed and still can't play the dvds from the main disc channel or the backup disc channel.

495 users (far less than actually used the guide, I suspect) have clicked "thanks" on mauifrog's guide --- must not be chaotic to most, lol.

    Help, please

I tried to follow the guide. I am stuck in the part3 of Chapter1 (make a NAND backup). I pressed -Home-, and then chose "Launch Bootmii". Then I saw four icons, including Wii, the HBC, SD, and some kind of tools. The guide says press Power, Power, Power, Reset Reset. My understanding is right, right, right, A, and A. I thought Reset=seclect=A. However, nothing happened. BTW: How can I exit bootmii to HBC? Can I use the handle and point to the HBC icon? The screen seems to be frozen. Can I restart Wii by pressing the power button? Will that brick my Wii? Can anyone answer my questions? I am new to all these. Thank you very much!

I followed this guide perfectly, to the end.

However, some games still don't work, for example WarioWare:Smooth Moves or Bully:Scholarship Edition. Any explanation as to why?

The buttons you are to push are when you have BootMii loaded. You won't brick by exiting or powering down; doesn't sound like you're inside of BootMii.

I just realized that power, power, power, reset, and reset are on the console, not on the handle. I will keep updating my process. Thanks!

    Indiana Jones Hackmii error

Ok, after accidentally upgrading from a normal softmodded wii to 4.3 I'm now trying to recover my mistake. I've search the threads and posts and the only solution I have come across was to use a SD card only. Well SD is what I've been using all along (even before the tragic upgrade). So, this is where I am:

    Using Indiana Jones

Cleaning up enviroment... Eventhook release failed with c
    ode 0
    OK.
    Sd card not found (-1056964604)
    UsbGecko not found
No code found on load, hanging.

Please someone point me in the right direction. I would greatly appreciate it.
