Hi, just would like to ask a question.
Since I found out yesterday that I can't do the softmod trick without Indiana Jones for 4.3 firmware, I would like to know if I have to actually HAVE the game permenently or can I just rent it, do the trick and then continue as normal?
So if I understand correctly, after i have followed this guide up to chapter 3, I will have a CFG channel on the main menu. After this I will of course be wanting to plug in my USB FAt 32 HDD and play games. Havent I got to install something to the HDD like a boot .dol or something? I'm kind of understanding but missing some pieces of the puzzle i think.
In fact, i dont get chapter 3, "Extract any wii app pack to your sd card" then what?? how do i navigate to whats now on the sd card. From here are apps i select installed somewhere. can i extract to the hdd instead of SD someone Please explain, thanks.
Edit: doing my best to understand this, reading some more....
Am i right in saying when i follow chapter 3 and extract the "any wii app pack to the sd card", i can then navigate to this via the HBC and install CFG, and it gives me options to install to the USB HDD??? Have i answered my own question or still not got it quite right??

Hey guys I need your help!
I'm using the Indiana Jones method
after formatting my sd card, dragging contents to root folder, completing level one of Indiana Jones, saving game
When I click "sd card" there are no files that show up. When I try to look in the sd card from the main menu, I get the error 004: corrupt data message. I've tried with 2 different sd cards and both fat & fat32 formats.
My Wii was previously softmodded but my sister accidentally updated it to 4.3u and I'm trying to softmod again
I have a WiiKey installed in a Australian 4.1E Wii.
I attempted the 1.0-3.2 wiis- ModChip Hack Method for Part 1. Unfortuantly when I insert the DVD-ROM my Wii the displays the following error on a black screen. I burned the MMM-16 disc twice just in case my first burn attempt was not correct.
A error has occured. Press
the Eject Button and remove
the disc, then turn the Wii
console off and refer to the
Wii Operations Manual for
Which other method do you suggest I use for Part 1 of your tutorial? ANy help will be greatly appreciated.
