Yes, I hear going into high warp drive and then doing a sling-shot around the sun works wonders for this

Indeed, but keep in mind we can't go into the future either. If someone told you we could they were misinformed.

Do the Final Step of the guide.

I notised you have removed the section about installing IndianaPwns, is there a reason for this, is it still a good idea as far as brick protection. I also remember you said, to play Lego Indiana Jones of a different region after copying this save file, for obvious reasons, so it wont get overwritten. With that in mind could one just change the title id to xxxe or xxxj etc. from my original backup and be ok or is this just plain stupid?

Yes, it is a good idea to have it, but the method of installing it caused to much confusion for a desired simple guide. Working it back into the guide is still a consideration, but not at the cost of confusion. Also, this guide has many other levels of brick protection without the indiana PWNS, I wanted to provided all options, but that one caused a lot of confusion for people.
As far as disk recovery goes, as long as the system ios is not modified after this guide, all users with drives that can read backup dvds should be alble to load recovery disks without a modchip, such as MMM-250.zip, there are many other possibilities.

Since you bring it up, I was thinking that during priiloader install, after load/install cfg usbloader forwarder. After that I could add, -
select load installed file - cfg loader loads
    Load Wii Recovery Disk
    Select Restore
Restore Indiana PWNS NTSC and Indiana PWNS PAL

I need to test it, but it could be simpler than the prior method.

Got as far as the priiloader part, went to install and the screen was fine for a few seconds after i started the install, then got distorted/frozen. Left it on for a half hour, thinking maybe it would've installed. Then turned off the wii, turned it back on, and now she's a lost one. Such a shame...

Please clarify what you mean by a lost one.

Are you saying that the priiloader 0.5 installed ended in a bricked wii? That is no good if it is so.
