    NTSC stands for "National Television System Committee" and is the standard for televisions in North America and Japan. The rest of the world uses the PAL (Phase Alternate Line) video standard.

    When I run bootmii, 4 icons appears (wii, hbc, SD, config)... but i am unable to move. It's like my wii can't detect my remote... I see the lights of the remote flashing

    When i'm not in bootmii... remote works fine...

    So i am not able to do my NAND backup... What should I do?

    Thanks for the guide. Successfully softmodded my 4.3U. Now I have a question tho, how do I install new CIOS? What files do I need in my SD and where do I need to go?

    Wii remote doesn't work during bootmii, you navigate using the power button on the wii and select with the reset button. To do a nand backup press: Power, Power, Power, Reset, Reset.

    When you install new cios you just run the cios installer or install them by wad. There are no new cios you need at the moment.

    little confused

    I am new to all of this and wanted to try and make it happen. So I did the soft mod and can access the prii loader but I now cannot get back to the Nintendo Wii menu, when I try to I get a black screen and the remote does not sync. Does this mean that I bricked my Wii. In addition when i try to load the home brew channel from the prii loader menu it shows an error. I guess I messed something up horrible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I tried playing No More Heroes 2 with CFG USB Loader and all the CIOS I currently have but I either get a black screen or error loading the game. I read another thread that someone ran the game with CFG USB Loader using cios38 rev19. So I wanna try to install that cios to see if i can get this game to run. I have the wad for it and I put it in the wad folder and MMM in the apps folder but when I tried to run MMM from the homebrew channel, it just sent me to the bootmii screen.

    Chapter 3- The Final Step
    Don't forget to do this
    Format your sd-card, one last time
    Extract AnyWii-AppPack.zip to sd:\

    Once it's on the SD card... what do i do with it?

    Hello all,

    I'm trying to modify my Wi with this guide but im still stuck at the first stage.....

    My wi was originally a 3.4E (UK Model) and now its showing as 4.1E. I'm trying to use the MMM58-61.zip file to install the two .wad files (IOS58-64-v6175) and (IOS61-64-v5661) but each time i try it the first file (v6175) fails to install and the second file (v5661) works fine. Ive checked the card is FAT32 and formatted it correctly, even downloaded the file a couple of times too and due to this error i was advised here to use TBR-MMM-DOP-Mii pack......which i did and using option 2 seemed to be ok, but for some reason it doesnt want to installed the first .wad file.

    I used MMM v13.2 and this was the overview.....

    * Installing 1/2 IOS58-64-v6175.wad - Title (-1035)

    * Installing 2/2 IOS61-64-v5661.wad - OK!

    {#} Final Status - 1 completed succesfully.
    - 1 did not complete.

    My current Wi system info according to MMM is:

    System menu v 4.1 on IOS60
    Console Region: Europe
    Video Standard: PAL-50
    Screen Res: Enhanced (480p)
    Wii connect 24: On
    Standby mode: On
    EULA Accepted: Yes

    If anyone has any ideas or has experienced this error i would appreciate any help as i really dont think its safe to continue unless both of those .wad files are installed properly.

    Regards

    Johnny
