ok, i want to first say thank every senior and moderator for all the hard extensive work they have into this whole project, i've been a newbie for 2 years now, and after hours and hours of reading after i get off of work, im still trying to get this thing plugged all together.

so my question- i used this mod any wii guide this time, and brought me out to system 4.1u.usb loader gx, and configurable usb loader are not working. im thinking i may need to search around and download some other ios's or cios? this guide installed 45 cios's on the wii, i just did a ios insanity check, and it said 37 of them were installed. now- when i go through this guide, it does not give me a way to check to make sure all ios's are installed> so my main question is- do i need to move on to the 4.1 mod guide, or did i overlook something? this is my 3rd wii i've modded, and it's been a headache to understand what each ios/ cios is needed. at this point, i can't play any back up, but eventually i would like to try out my black ops. i appreciate the help you have all given, and hate to ask questions, but i think im overlooking something. thanks

    Dsi...

Nobody else has a the 'exception (dsi) occurred' problem while installing HBC on 4.3e?? Btw, I have the same error when I run a SysCheck in DOP-Mii...

UPDATE: I'm starting to suspect that my Wii was allready softmodded before the 4.3e update (Yes, I know, I did the update before knowing that wasn't a good idea). The Wii that I have was in fact my g/f brother's Wii and it IS possible the he or some friend hacked it before. When I check the install log of HackMii, it finds IOS 222, 223, 249, 250 and 254. According to this thread http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...s-updated.html those IOSes are 'hacked' ones. Is this correct? What steps do I have to follow to be able to install HBC?

    Thanks a lot!

It is more likely that they are stubs from the update. Nintendo installs stub IOS's (useless placeholders) to overwrite a cIOS that you may have installed. I will look into the DSI error, although I am 99% sure I have heard of this before. I may have seen it dozens of times, but it is 4:15AM right now, so I'm not at my best.

Thanks for the great tutorial. The instructions were perfect. I now have my 4.3U modded and a working formatted FAT32 USB Hard Drive. Im still having a few issues with figuring out ios for older games, but im sure this forum will be a great help with that too. Thanks again.

    Question

Option 2- Smash Stack - Works with 4.3u/j
-Load SSBB ntsc, with sd-card removed, make a save file if asked
-Go to the stage builder, delete all custom stages found, exit the stage builder
-Exit all the way back to the main SSBB menu

just to clarify, does this mean go back to the menu that says brawl, singleplayer, vault, etc. right, not the title screen or the vault menu screen, affirmative?

    Ok here's my input;

    Great guide,
I have a chipped 2006 pal wii I did myself with wiifree. Followed the guide to the letter and all worked! I used the wheelie game, works great and is more available from lovefilm ect, however I used a back up copy of it just a tip, lush

I would just like to know two things; Is there is a check to validify all is good? As I read a post where someone said they had IOSV60 in priiloader and it seemed that this was wrong? Well that's what I have!

    So is IOSV60 correct?
Also what is the best fat32 HD app?

    Thanks again.
