Do you have to delete your current brawl data, or can I just delete the custom stages?

Just custom stages. Make sure you disconnect wifi before loading, because Nintendo downloads a custom stage everyday (or they used to).

Only a small typo: In the spoiler
    "Softmods with HOMEBREW CHANNEL installed"

you have write "Extract MMM-58-60.zip to sd:\" but it must be MMM-58-61.zip for being coherent.

    Thx

Hi I followed this guide to a t except that I didn't opt to downgrade and I instaled cios224 v5.1 as well. The wii now freezes all the time when using wiifow and other loaders. What should I do?

Is it working with the cfg loader in chapter 3?

@Mauifrog, Thanks for the quick response, no it consistently freezes using that loader as well.

That is most likely an issue with your hd. Hard to say, try loading from some other media.

Ok, so just got done modding and everything seems ok. A couple of things:
When installing priiloader it gave a couple of errors in red, not sure now what they were exactly, but I then rebooted and priiloader booted up, I enabled the block updates etc. Did everything go ok with priiloader then? I assume the update protections are in place without leaving the SD card with priiloader on it in the wii?

Also, it seems all the apps run from HBC, what does the LoadMii channel do? It seems to do the same thing as HBC--do I need the LoadMii channel?
Finally, in priiloader I wasn't able to set it to autoboot the USB Loader--that option wasn't there even after installing the forwarder. Did I miss something?
