    Nah, mod power

What, they don't have Wal-Marts (24 hours open in most locations) in Canada, lol?

Figured I'd ask one last question while I was here.

The guide says that installing the NAND Backup is not optional. Would it be possible to skip this step, continue with the guide but then install the NAND backup later on? What exactly does the NAND backup do, and how important is the order?

    Sorry for all the questions!

Haha... 24 hour locations, honestly I haven't seen one. We are making steps in the right direction though, McD's are almost all 24 hours now, and the Burger King across the street from the Walmart is 24 hours as well now. I'm pretty sure the Walmart goes 24/7 around Christmas. Anyways, if the trend continues it will be 24/7 soon! Too bad that doesn't help me out tonight.

If your wii is online you can download xyzzy
    File Download
run it from HBC and put the keys.txt in a safe place until you can make a full nand backup.

My Wii is connected to the internet. I'm a bit confused though, so I need to install this xyzzy file onto my SD card, put it into my wii then open up HBC and launch it? Or, am I supposed to somehow get to this page from my wii (im currently on my laptop beside my wii) and click on the download link that way?

Also, assuming I can run and launch that file, can I then continue with the guide and do the NAND backup later?

    Thanks again.

Alternative to nand backup, if you can't make one now

You run it on the PC and point to the files you've downloaded onto the PC before moving them to the Wii. ie extract files to PC, run md5summer.exe on the PC to verify file integrity. Once verified, put'em on SD and you know they're good/ready for the Wii. It's simply a checksum program designed to make sure there's no corruption relating to your download.

No, extract them to the sd card and run the md5summer from the sd card while on the pc. This way you ensure there is no corruption while transferring to the sd card, the zip should be extracted directly to sd:\
