Even when I try to run HBC from the Title list the screen goes blank.

    PLEASE - ANYBODY HELP!!!!
Still no HBC but I can get MMM to work - have re-installed all the WADS including 4.1 - have re-installed HBC but still nothing besides PRIILOADER.

Do I do a NAND restore? Will that erase PRIILOADER?

What do I do people - I'm worried sick here

How big are game backups normally??
Part of the guide is making a backup of your NAND. You can't safely restore it if you don't have bootmii as boot2 installed, but in the event of a full brick you can have someone use the backup to fix your Wii.
Game backups are not the same as a NAND backup. A NAND backup is ~0.5GB.

Did the banner brick happen while using this guide?

After completing this guide, I went on to use the Channel creator for games on a USB HDD. This is when this happened.

    What do I do please?

Your problem has nothing to do with this guide then. Just wait a bit and one of the mods will probably tell you where you should ask this question instead.

I followed the guide here http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...-included.html to the letter.

From what I can see I did nothing wrong - is this a common fault of putting Channels in?

Any ideas of what to do? I should've left it alone! lol

My point is that installing bootmii as boot2 is just possible for wiis manufactured until mid 2008. So if your wiis is manufactured in 2009 so can't install bootmitt as boot2 and you have to do it as ios. I read that ios doesn't cover protection against a full brick. Is there a way a get a full brick protection for wiis after mid 2008?

Yeah I know. I was just wondering if a game backup is as big as a DVD5 or DVD9 disc because I want to put one backup on my 8GB flash drive but if the game is bigger than 8gb i cannot do it.

    Unhappy Re: Vinatec

"are you already following a wiihacks guide ?
try again get rid of everything, also the softmod any wii guide linked below has an option to use the installed hbc (didn't got if you erased that as well)
please direct questions in the guide's thread that you follow.
    good luck
edit: closed, you found the guide, excellent."

I followed a youtube video but changed videos midway thru, anyhow i got rid of everything i erased it from the wii channels section, i erased the SSB game save data, i reformatted the sd card and redid it, then tryed again, but the installer wont start up now! ive tried and tried there is nothing visible through data management that implies HBC or Bootmii are still installed. I have no idea what to do? the wii still works and all but i wanted to softmod my system and i cant even open the hackmii installer again!

Be sure you erase all the custom levels in ssbb before running the hack.
