are you talking about backup copies of other region games, or retail discs?
In priiloader, there's a hack that enables region free wii games...
and you can use a loader to launch games on dvd-r, you don't have to have darkcorp installed

    Questions!!

Hi, just softmoded my Wii successfully, but I'm stuck with a couple of questions.

    1. How do I innstall homebrew apps on my home screen??? Is it possible, or is the way through homebrew channel the only way?

    2. When I was done softmodding, I was left with some new channels in the homescreen. "Configurable Usb loader", "backup disc channel" and LoadMii(orwii) usb something". Do I need these channels there? If not, is it possible to delete em?

    THX IN ADVANCE!!!

Edit: The first question isn't really what i'm looking for. I don't need apps as home screen channels, but I was thinking more about the loaders, and homebrew browser etc? Or does it all depends on the homebrew itself wheter or not I can make them channels?

Sorry for the nooby questions, but if I don't ask, i don't learn

    1. channels come in .wad form, if you want them on your home screen, google them and install with wad manager (make sure they're from a reputable source, as bad wads can brick your wii)
    2. if you don't want those channels, simply go into wad manager and uninstall the wads

#1 you can create forwarders to apps: Guide
#2 you can delete whatever you want in the wiisettings / channel management, very odd you don't need one of the usb loaders though (get a nice usb harddrive to use them )

    helloo test

Had this problem too; going into Settings -> My Account and changing the Forum Skin from "WiiHacks" to "Forum Default" seems to have fixed it (not sure why, since it seems like "WiiHacks" IS the forum default, but whatever, maybe it just needed to be reset or something).

    Unhappy

    Hi all,

I'm following this guide to hack my Wii (a Red 25th Anniversary Edition - 4.3E menu version, PAL), but I'm missing something...

I have Super Smash Bros Brawl and after doing all the previous steps, when I insert the SD card and go back to the stage builder.... nothing happens. The SD card image has a Zero over it, and when I change to SD, still nothing happens.
    What am I missing?
On 1st step it says "Load SSBB ntsc (...)". Is this the problem?? Do I need a PAL version of the files?
I'm kinda lost here... Please feel free to help out.

    Thanks in advance.

You don't load discs with priiloader.

    thats right -> problem.
only the mentioned combinations region/game work.
you need lego indiana jones or yu-gi-oh to hack your PAL wii. buy/borrow/rent the game
    good luck
