Load HBC, press -HOME-, launch Bootmii
    Make a nand backup
Press Power, Power, Power, Reset, Reset (or use gc-controller)
Power = Right, Eject = Left, Reset = Select
Once the backup is complete, exit bootmii to HBC
Backup your Bootmii files to your PC
    sd:\bootmii
    sd:\nand.bin
    sd:\key.bin
    *DO NOT LOSE THESE FILES*
If you want to load bootmii again at a later date, copy the bootmii folder back to sd:\

Press Power, Power, Power, Reset, Reset (or use gc-controller)
Power = Right, Eject = Left, Reset = Select
do I do this with the Wii-Mote or the wii itself?, and I don't recall a Select Button on The GameCube Controller or is that the Classic Controller

I must appologize, it has been awhile since I have read my guide. I, for the life of me am unable to recall where in this guide you would be instructed to install ios36-v3351. Please, help me help you; what exactly are you referring to?

I'd settle for everyone he OWNS, no sense in wishing collateral damage to those folks who'd foolishly trust their Wiis to him, lol.

Wiis shipping with 4.3U? They're getting smarter.

Also, this guide seems to have not broken my friend's Wii
Didn't fix his Sonic Unleashed backup not working; guess I'll have to check elsewhere

Also, sure has become >implying< in this thread.

EDIT: Oh, crap! Mine isn't working either
Guess I should've tried it sooner.

I have a 2gb microsd memory card which I can stick into an SD card adapter. Will that work or do I have to go buy a smaller card?

Generally, you'll have issues with MicroSD in an adapter. I know Shadow mentions in his 4.2 guide it's OK, but most folks' results are a mixed bag. A 2gb full SD card by Sandisk is the best choice; if you live in the states, a Wii-branded one will set you back $10 @ Wally World (and they're made by Sandisk). Mauifrog says pretty much what I'm saying to you, though.

Might work, might not, it's not recommended to use them. 2GB Sandisk are best.
