Worked like a charm..BIG thanks Looks like the Indy game is going back on ebay to get my money back.
Hi Mauifrog, thanks very much for posting your guide. I have not yet tried it out as I am not sure if my Wii is bricked. The Wii is hard modded and was also softmodded with HBC etc until my son updated the system to 4.3e. Now there's no HBC and no games run at all. Not even any original titles. It stll boots and I can see the menu etc. but how can I run Lego Indiana Jones if the system doesn't recognise original titles. Sorry, but I'm confused with the guide especially when the original games aren't showing anymore.
noob here, most of us are on these threads lol. want to run back ups etc and so went and brought the super smash bros brawl title for wii, downloaded the pack for hackmii installer, deleted the stage builder examples as said, went back to it once i put the SD card with the files on and it doesnt do anything differently.. the hackmii doesnt apear, only difference is it has the option to load from sd card at bottom of which it sayas there is nothing on it... onl thing i do different is...im using a micro SD card throught a SD card adapter and my system menu is 4.3E rather than 4.3J deoes this make any difference and i should have brought Indiana jones...?
Hello, Got the Indiana Jones game, found the exploit, got to the installer, but when I chose to install HBC, I get a code dump. Thats as far as I can get. Any ideas?
I followed your guide to patch my 3.3U Wii and things were going smoothly right up until I tried to launch bootmii to do the second NAND backup. Bootmii does not load at all. I don't get any signal at all and I have to do a hard reset of the system before I'm able to do anything else with the Wii. Does anyone have any ideas on what may have happened?
I was using the Twilight Hack section of Part 1 if that makes any difference.
Also, thanks for the excellent guide.
for the record, you could've used bannerbomb like the guide says instead...
could you install bootmii as boot2? if so, did you try booting bootmii that way?
sounds like you're trying to launch it from the hbc, and bootmii IOS didn't install right or something
I used the twilight hack as that was what I was familiar with, and I had the game handy. I did install bootmii as Boot2 and made sure to prepare the SD card as specified. I tried running bootmii through both methods, HBC and the poweron sequence that worked the first time around.
I also attempted to delete Bootmii using the homebrew installer and reinstalling it as boot2 with the same results
