Download THIS and extract it directly to your sd card (merging folders if asked).

    -Launch the Homebrew Channel.
-Select Hackmii Installer and Launch it
-Select to Install Bootmii (install it if you haven't) and there on that screen you should see an option to Prepare an SD card. Select that to write the files to your SD.

Thats it. Now exit and launch the Hombrew Channel. Press Home and select Bootmii. This now gives you access to bootmii where you can make your nand backup.

The only thing that shows up is the WiiMod v3.2 for me, I extracted the files you showed me but it's not appearing for my HBC.

    HBC 1.1.0
    IOS58 v24.32

I have the option to launch bootmii from the homebutton but it takes me to a black screen then the blue light flashes on my wii nonstop.

Thanks for your effort so far!

You should have the following structure on your sd card:

    sd/apps/hackmii_installer_v1.0/boot.elf

Verify that is what you have.

Can you post a screenshot of the contents of the hackmii installer folder? Make sure it includes the path at the top of the screen. If you dont want to show your desktop publicly you can PM me the screenshot.

Weird....the boot.elf should load just fine...

Exit the HBC entirely without the sd card in. Put in your sd card, then launch the HBC. Maybe something didnt refresh????

I have never seen this problem before...thousands of users have done this without issue..

Yeah, go ahead and bannerbomb it and reinstall both the HBC and bootmii. This time dont forget to "prepare the sd card".

Side question...what kind of sd card are you using....brand and size

The WiiMod is a boot.dol as is everything else I was running on the card before I backed it up, the Hackmii is a boot.elf which is why I believe it's not showing up as I abandoned using .elf a while ago.

SD = SandDisk Ultra II 2GB
