Thread: Guide: Softmod ANY Wii

    Hey guys. Im a complete rookie currently reading through all the steps of this walkthrough and I'm starting to get a good understanding…however, Im doing this on mac (its all i have) and supersfv crashes as soon as i open it. What should I do?

    when i'm going to install the wads, the wads dont appear in wad manager...i only have the folders app and wad and after choose wad, it opens and shows again app folder and wad folder

    what can i do?

    Make sure the wads are stored in sd/wads

    There should be no sub folders.

    If I spelled something wrong, I'll just blame it on auto-correct

    but the wads are stored in the folder wads

    i dont know whats happening

    when i open wad manager on wii, the wads aren't there

    Are you sure that the WAD Manager is looking in sd:/wads? If you used Wii Mod from ModPack.zip and installed it to your SD card correctly, the default path it should be starting to look for (and where your .wads should be located) is sd:/wad (singular)

    Did you run md5summer.exe from the SD card's root and validate the included md5 files? That ensures that you have everything in the correct directory in addition to making sure that they are intact.

    i'm doing everything right...like it says in the tutorial

    the wad manager is looking in the right folder and i run md5summer

    Hi, I used this guide about 1 year ago, excellent guide, been using my wii for ages now, but wanted to update it to the latest in the guide, I think i'm on 4.1E system and something like 3.8 of WiiFlow, so wanted to update. At which point in the guide to I need to start please?
