    Thanks for the reply.

Installed all wads using the batch install like chapter 2 part 1 says, but I was watching my nephew at the time so I couldn't see it finishing all the installs. If a wad fails does it say something and stop the process or pause? I did the checksum and it was all good before installing, just want to make sure they all installed properly before I go on.

I think it would just go through. At the end, post a syscheck and we can verify everything installed properly.

See the link in my signature for directions on how to generate and post syschecks.

For my USB issue, could it have anything to do with IOS58 (I think that's the USB2.0 one) or HBC?

Your mod looked good, so it's either the app or the hard drive not being compatible with the Wii.

Looks like everything is good here. Followed everything the guide says. I got Priiloader but is there anything else that can help prevent bricks for a IOS installed bootmii system? I know this references something called sneek, but is there anything that can make my system more brick proof or is priiloader enough?

So since they HDD works perfectly fine on my main Wii, the only logical solution would be software on the recently modded Wii. I'm kinda running dry on ideas... any more to offer??

I used my old CFG Loader app file and the games run like they should. I'm thinking it might have something to do with the configuration of the new apps? Anyway, here's a syscheck

    Spoiler

Was given recently a Wii to mod and for now just installed the homebrew channel.
It was soft-modded before but was accidentally updated to 4.3.
Since there are stubs will they be safely overwritten by using this guide?

    Here's the sysCheck

    Hi Deadzed,
I am "only" a newbie here but from what I have read, yes, letterbomb should work on 4.3 U .
Just a brief note here though, when the "letterbomb" comes through in its red envelope it is quite hard to click on it and activate it, you have to kind of point the controller at it whilst not quite pointing and clicking on it- if that makes any sense!

Yes. The guide will overwrite them just fine.
