    I'm running into a problem on step 1 :/

Using Bannerbomb v1 when I install the two WADs and press B to return to the main menu I get the following message:
    "Checking IOSs.......
    \stub 51
    .................."

It hangs there indefinitely. I've tried the process 3 times (formatting my SD card each time and redownloading/unzipping the file to be sure).

    Here's my syscheck:

If you already have HBC installed, try the section in chapter 1, part 1 that says "for Wiis with HBC already installed". You don't have to banner bomb it again.

Have searched and have been unable to find a solution although a youtube link does show somwthing similar occuring but from a couple of years ago. I have been happily using this softmod guide and its updates for the past few years and have historically not had any problems. However, since about a month ago I softmodded 2 Wii systems 4.3E models and again another one tonight and each appear to have the same problem. It appears that Kirby (Dreamland and Epic Yarn) games now have a pink bar at the bottom when loading commences or in the case of Epic yarn simply does not load and goes to a blank screen. Now on all the previous incarnations of the software provided on this guide, ALL games have worked until now. I am yet to go through all the games to find out if these are the only 2 affected but fingers crossed.

I'm hoping it is something simple I have overlooked and that somebody can point me into the right direction to finding a solution.

Thank you for reading and I look forward to your repsonses.

So, I made it further then last night. I ran the Verify Sums, no errors. Went to install the wads and no joy. Tried to update with the patch, no joy. Any input/help would be appreciated. Thanks!wii.jpg

if you're getting an error code, there is a thread for that. if you are still getting an error code after reading that thread and attempting all workarounds/fixes, feel free to ask again

/you need to elaborate on 'tried to install wads, no joy'. that doesnt help us at all.

Sorry for that, no joy, meaning it didn't work. There was no error code on the check. I tried to install the IOS 236 and that didn't work either.

    sigh.

i wasnt referencing the check. when you attempted to install the wad file, what error did it give you? take that error code and visit the error code thread, apply the necessary fix(s), report back.

Gotcha, thanks. It was error code 1022: Looked it up and this:Content did not match hash in TMD
Yet, when I ran the Check Sum, I received no errors.

try a different SD card. i got that error on one particular SD card that i had been using for a while. no amount of formatting or deleting the partition record would fix the -1022 i was getting.
