You were probably using an NTFS setup with games in ISO format then. It is now recommended to use FAT32 (with 32kb clusters) and use Wii Backup Manager to add the games in compressed WBFS format.

I installed the d2x v9 and now when I open USB Loader up, it doesn't detect the hard drive at all. Tried opening up WiiFlow also but still nothing. Was I supposed to uninstall the d2x v10 (just making a guess here, not sure if it was installed with the original guide)? Is there anything else I can try or if not, how can I uninstall the v9? Also, I used the offline installation if that matters.

    Thanks for the help!

You "Don't" have to UN-install anything!!

Just re-install the Cios's you want over the old one's.

    Hello
I've bought a used Wii recently its already hacked but it only has a wierd version of gecko os and a homebrew save file but no homebrew channel found.

so i wanted to install homebrew channel again so i can add other channels like usb loader and such, so in my state is trying to install homebrew, bootmii and wads again into the system would damage it in any way or is it fine ?
and how can I check my system IOS stuff ?

so far i've tried some backup disks of my games using the installed gecko os and they all seem to work fine expect for TLoZ:SS ? anyone know why is that though ?

Your system will be fine, just follow this guide in its entirety. The reason Skyward Sword doesn't work is probably because you need updated cIOS, of which this guide installs.
