I don't know if this hasn't anything to do with it but whenever I start brawl up, it says I'm receiving vault data even though no one sent me anything. I'm also not accepting the daily stages thing online or the smash service that sounds data to my wii so Idk what it is. Has this ever occurred?
    Ok, so I figured out it's the wii that's the problem. I've played other games on it and they play fine. The issue I'm having with Super Smash Bros Brawl only happens on this wii also. I've tested it out and the disc works fine on my little brother's wii (with and without hacks on). The "receiving vault data" indication I was taking about has stopped, but the delay's are still occurring when I go into the vault or I'm saving online. Someone on here said that there was a brawl expert and I was wondering if someone could point him in my direction or point me in his? I'm new here (only made an account just to talk about this issue and thank the creator(s) of this guide).

    if wii doesnt see data on any sd card, check the SD card slot of the console, see if damaged(deformed) pin could be found.

    Yes, ideas. Why don't you use the Letterbomb exploit rather than a game exploit? Also, in order for a game to work you can't simply put the save file on it --- you actually have to play the game first. Only use a 1 or 2gb SD card, Sandisk work best (do NOT use a SDHC, nor a MicroSD in adapter).

    @nightstah hey man, when i first did this guide i had 4.3E but its now 4.1E and you told me to go to softmods with HBC installed, i believe i have updated to latest HBC channel when it asked of me too, so if i follow the guide again, if i already have all those iOS installed, will it let me know or will it overwrite them? and after that do i continue with the rest of the entire guide? (part 2 part 3 etc)?

    @Major:

    HBC should be V1.1.0 - don't update to V1.1.2, that's for vWii and may affect the softmod. If you had been at 4.3 previously, then as the guide states you do not need the IOS update pack.

    That might be a problem then... if my HBC is now 1.1.2, how would i go back to reverting it? do i redownload the pack on the pc then transfer to sd?

    I don't think that you can have more than one shop channel installed on a system at a time, so installing another region may remove your rights to play the other region's games in the process.
