    Red face Help!!!-- Solved

Super tutorial , I learnt and I did many things on my new second hand virgin 4.3E Wii! However, I will need anyone's advidse/help when it comes to Chapter 2 part 2, installing the priiloader! I think I have followed every step correctly up to this point and I even downgraded my 4.3E to 4.1E as it was recommended! BUT when i tried to install the priiloader (0.7 for my non-tr remote) , I get to the point where I press A to install the Priiloader and It just stays there, no action, it freezes! I then tried to close it down with holding the power button for 10s and then tried to open it with reset button, just to make sure if priiloader works but nope! Is it because I have 4.1e and maybe needs something extra?

Edit: Never mind, I was pressing A and now I tried pressing + which did the job, silly me, the tutorial is great!

hi, I feel silly asking this, but i was updating my wii today that i did last year or the year before using this guide. The problem i am having is that the channels (the last step) are not appearing now. if i go through homebrew channel they will appear that way. i format the card and my card looks like this i:\apps\ when you click on apps it has the 6 folders for the channels. normally when i do this they all appear as a channel but not this time it didn't. when i did my wii last year it was a 4.2e so i did the step to downgrade to 4.1e. I didn't bother to do that this time as it was already on 4.1e. another thing that happen was when i was upgrading the shop channel i had to do the -1035 error. but everything went all ok for everything else. i have tried a couple of time redownloading the link and reformatting the sd card to see if that works but no luck. any idea what i have done wrong. i also did the iso update and as mention above the shop update.
    thanks

Ok ive decided im probably going to softmod my wii again, i think i still have the NAND backup although im not sure. What is it for anyway? How can i check if i still have it? is it somewhere on the SD card? i think the old guide also suggested that i should have gone back to 4.1 (when i bought my wii it was 4.3E) and i did that. Can i update to 4.3E first and then reapply this softmod? How can i update the shop channel as well?

@MajorFoley - Start by taking a look at the newbies guide in my signature. It answers a bunch of your questions. Specific answers tho:
    * Nand backup is insurance in case something bad happens, can be used either by you or wii professional to help you recover.
    * Making another nand backup is a good idea. The only possible downside is 30 minutes of your life. If that weighs into your decision....
    * You can stay on 4.1. No need to ever upgrade to 4.3.

The NAND backup is meant for you to save on another system, not on the SD card that you actively are using (you format the SD card multiple times in the modding process. If you made a NAND backup and then formatted it before backing up your backup data, you just lost it.

If you don't know where your current backup is, good idea to make a new one, then save it so you know where it is for next time.

hi guys was after a bit of help!

    1. I have a 1GB Kingston SD card formatted to Fat32
    2. My Wii is running 4.3E
    3. I put the MAC address into the letterbomb website with the correct region selected and downloaded the files with "bundle hackmii installer" checked
    4. Extracted the .rar to the root SD:\
    5. Put the SD into the Wii (no games or controllers in the Wii) and went into messages
    6. Can't find the red letter with the bomb, have checked every date within the last and next 5 years on the calender

    any help would be appreciated!
