If I followed the SoftMod guide here all the way to the end, without downgrading the system menu, can I do just that portion now, or would I need to redo the entire tutorial? Thanks...

Just so I'm clear in my understanding: you have previously completed this ENTIRE guide, opting at the time to skip the downgrade? And now you're asking can you do the downgrade (as in changed your mind after competing it), right?

Thanks It is storming right now, so I will wait until it stops - I would hate to lose power while I'm doing this! I have read it three times and I promise to read it at last twice more before starting! Thanks again...

Hi, I followed the whole guide and it was great, everything went perfectly, up to this one point. I dont know what the problem is exactly, but none of the loaders work. Like... they'll load, but not if my HDD is plugged into the USB. And if I load the loader first, then plug the usb in, any of them will recognize it and tell me exactly how much space I have on it, but still wont see the games.

I'm using an NTFS partition, and I also used the NTFS guide completely. I'm trying to avoid reformatting, because I keep everything else on this HDD too. My computer backups and school projects and such. I did check the compatibility list, and it was listed as fully compatible. (Toshiba Canvio 1TB) And the WiiMC will freely read the media I have on it.

All three loaders are supposed to be compatible with NTFS, and I have the hard drive set up properly with the game directories in the root. Is it possible I made a mistake somewhere in the softmod installation without realizing it?

Letter bomb is the option for 4.3 systems. There are two versions of Bannerbomb for systems ranging from 3.2ish through 4.2. If one doesn't work, try the other (on my system only one would work. I forget which one). Check the spoilers in Chapter 1 Part 1 for info on how to do each.

OK.. I did the downgrade and now, it appears as if Priiloader is missing, as well as the theme that was installed (DarkWii Blue). Before the downgrade, the system would boot directly to USBLoader. Now it comes up to the Health and Safety warning. Pressing A takes me into the Wii Menu. I tried pressing and holding Reset, but that only reboots the Wii.

Do I need to reinstall Priiloader? What about the System Menu Hacks? I didn't want to just go ahead and reinstall it since it clearly says in the tutorial - ****Only install priiloader once, you need to hold reset to load priiloader****

Not as big a deal, but how do I reinstall the theme?

    Thanks...

When you reinstalled your system menu , you deleted priiloader.
Follow the priiloader guide in that section of the guide and you will be all good.
