    Someone help me!
I softmodded my wii a while back (3.2e) and have been messing around trying to get the HDD to work.
I upgraded my wii via wifi which has updated me to 4.3e and everything I click on the screen just goes black, how can I unbrick my wii and take it back from 4.3e to 3.2e?
    Your help is appreciated...

    Phil

Thanks for all the advice on here

i have successfully modded my 4.3e using yugioh. its awesome! i am using the cfg usb loader and each time i go to use it i have to select my wbfs drive which is no big deal i guess, i just wonder whether usbloader gx may be a bit more easier to use? for the kids mainly? your opinons?

have a look the usbloader folder in the sd card root.
there is a config.txt file in the second line you can specify the partition it should look in on default. you can alter it from Fat1 to wbfs/wbfs1/wbfs2 etc. you ll figure out, you put in mainly what you had selected to load the drive in cfg before.
there should be also a readme available, or just google on it if you are unclear about it.
    good luck

    <--suggestions helped? press Thanks

what screen are you talking about.
do you have some loaders or the homebrewchannel on your systemmenu and wonder why they are not working now on 4.3?
your update killed your softmod, all cIOS action is gone and stubs are instead in those slots in place.
you have to resoftmod again, oh look, you already found the correct guide for that
    good luck!

and I already backuped my wii, so I'm guessing I'm good to go?

Hi, just wondering if I'm good to go and try and downgrade my wii to 4.1, or am I missing something?

Ok, no clear reference here. You are quoting yourself talking about having boot2, which indicates a thought process of wanting to restore a former nand. You are asking about downgradin, which is part of this guide.'
So what exactly are you asking?

Try WiiFlow - u'll probably never go back to any other loader again (then again, it's a personal preference). See my post on the previous page for links.

yea i figured it out, in the setting of cfg loader you can select the drive and then save your settings. so now when i load it it goes right to my games, and i figured out how to load and back up the disc - pretty easy.

now i just need to look at the other things that have been loaded on and what they do such as the homebrew browser and loadmii etc etc
