    Can you run a syscheck (link of how to do so is in my signature) and paste the results in a spoiler tag as a reply to this thread?

    Your 61 looks good. You have the same version installed that I have (which is only one version higher than what was trying to install.)

    I would say it's safe to go ahead with the install at this point.

    Thanks, I thought it might be fine but wanted a second opinion just to make sure I didn't have anything weird. Better safe than sorry.

    No problem. I just wanted to make sure the version installed was something sane, and not 63,000 or something like that.

    Downgrading to 4.1 and wads didnt install, scared to turn my wii of help!

    I was following guide on here to softmod any wii and everything went fine untill i got to the downgrade part (4.3e to 4.1e). when installing the wads this happens

    >> reading WAD data...
    >> installing ticket..
    >>installing title..
    installing content #10... Error: (-1022) content did not match hash in TMD
    Try with AHBPROT mode or an ios with the correct permissions.

    3 errors occured...
    Error installing EULA-NUS-E-v2.wad::
    (-1022) Content did not match hash in TMD.error installing region select-NUS-E-v2.wad::
    (-1022) Content did not match hash in TMD.Error installing RVL=wiisystemmenu-v450.wad::
    (-1022) Content did not match hash in TMD

    press any key to continue

    in the main menu it says Current IOS:235 v54321 AHBPROT ENABLED there was one or 2 files from the previous step on the SD card, dont know if this would cause any probs and i didnt update the ios as im on 4.3e. i read on another thread there could be bad files from previous updates that will take effect if i try to downgrade although this wasnt mentioned in the guide itself. I made a nand backup and have a gc controller, what should I do?

    @Fenty:

    I moved your post into where it should've been made in the first place (in the guide you're following).

    Thanks have you any suggestions?

    edit- ok so i bit the bullet and turned the wii off and on again and it seems to be all working but on 4.3 menu. So i guess il just leave how it is. Perhaps it should be included in the guide to remove the bad files from updates before downgrading as another sticky on this site said this could brick your wii

    Im trying to install ctgp and the download came with an apps folder wich only has a boot.elf file and a png file and an xml file. Do i need the apps that are currently on the SD card for the usb loaders to work? the folders in the current SD apps folder are neogamma, usb loader, usb loader gx, wiiflow, wiimc

    Yes you need those for the loaders to work. Just extract the zip to the SD card. It will not overwrite those folders.
