Many thanks to all involved.
Ok new here, I followed the guide, I used ios236, then wiimod v3.2. From there I went to wad manage. I then see [wiimod] I go ahead and install that. Next I see usbloadergr_unlr.wad. I Install that as well. I then went back to HBC and started usbloader. I still get "USB device not found. Switching to channel list mode"
If I then try to run "usbloader" I get a black screen
What am I doing wrong? The USB was already formatted and has games on it

I downloaded the System Menu-4.1u-449 - USA files and have followed the instructions carefully. Got an error on the 3rd wad file installation. Here is the error:
1 error occured...
Error installing RVL-WiiSystemmenu-v449.wad::
(-1036) Required sysversion(IOS) is not installed.
Try with AHBPROT mode or an IOS with the correct permissions.
Press any key to continue.
Wii Mod: v3.2
System Menu: v3.3U
BootMii boot2v3 installed w/ .nand and .keys backup
I have not powerd off the WII yet and would appreciate advise on how to proceed to fix the issue without bricking.

EDIT: I got confused, never mind that. I see now that you're trying to update menu, which does have 3 WADs to it.
Did you verify md5? If you did, then did you do the entire ModPack (30 wads) and IOS Pack (25 wads, I think) before attempting the menu update?
If you did all that, then try installing the three wads again. If that still fails, maybe someone else has an idea?

Thanks for the prompt response cjizzle and llaffer. I had verified the MD5 and 100% ok. cjizzle was correct with the IOS60. I updated that by checking the return codes from another page and that did the trick. I then re-ran the 4.1 wad update and voila, now on system menu 4.1. I did not follow the complete guide from this site as it was previously modded. But I think the next one I will use this guide. Thanks for your support.
