Oh, so the exact size does matter. I always thought more couldn't hurt... I'm kind of stuck then, only got 512 mb and 4 Gb cards. I still have a hard time believing my 4GB SDHC is "too big".

It's more likely because it's SDHC. The HackMii Installer is quite picky about cards. After the nod is complete it should work fine.

Let me put it to you this way: look at my post count, look at my join date. Are you trying to prove the old axiom "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink" or what? 512mb won't cut it, you'd be the first one screaming your head off if you didn't make a NAND backup and bricked your Wii.

1GB OR 2GB I and others offer advice free for the taking, both to remedy user problems and to avoid them in the first place --- listen or don't, obviously that's your choice --- just don't make the same complaint, OK?

Is there anyway to re-arrange the channels and what displays on the first page?

Technically, if you enabled that hack via Priiloader hacks --- yes you can. You gotta drag it to the page or square you want it in. If memory serves, this is accomplished via pressing and holding the A & B buttons at the same time. It's hardly topical to the guide, but it is indirectly referenced in the recommended enabled hacks.

The hack in Priiloader allows you to move the Disk Channel. Without that hack, it's stuck in the first channel position, but all other channels are still movable.

I just started the mod and inserted the card, opened the red letter and pressed 1 and it everything went ok, then I pressed A and it gave me options, the last one on TV was exit, I pressed A again and now nothing is happening, the tv is blank, and wii is flashing blue light. This is all before step Part 2- Install The HomeBrew Channel and Bootmii
Do not know what to do now. Please help.

Ignore, I managed to finish the complete process, for now everything seems ok.
Thanks to all who contributed to this wonderful tutorial and software resources.

    AWESOME guide! Amazing job, guys!
Although I posted a bit nooby question on the previous page, and the answer of which wasn't very encouragable, I was determined to softmod my Wii and with a bit of extra and careful reading I softmoded my 4.3 Wii without any problems or errors and downgraded it to 4.1.
I would like to suggest some tiny supplement to the guide about the internet connection after the sofrmoding is done. I think that it might be useful for some people (like me) who had problems with the EULA, Wiiconnect24 and the internet connection after finishing the softmoding process. All the credits go to the user cjizzle (WiiHacks Staff, Moderator, Game Master), who posted the solution here: http://www.wiihacks.com/general-home...tml#post680892 . I just think it would be useful for others.
And again, simple but GREAT guide!

    Shouldn't that be through "3.2 - 4.2" instead?
