Again, I followed the guide to a "T" but I'm not sure if missing any cIOS's which weren't included in this guide might be causing it or not.
Looks fine but you should update your Syscheck to the latest version to make the log easier to read.

As not sure where to post this question. But just modded my new wii a friend got me and the only game i can not play is The_Legend_of_Zelda_Skyward_Sword. I get a black screen when loading it. On my frields old 4.1 firmware it runs fine. But my wii is on 4.3U. Is this the problems or am I missing a IOS file to play this one?

    Thanks

Skyward_Sword works fine on my softmodded Wii. you shouldn't have a problem after a complete softmod at 4.3u, following this thread. didn't u ?

A friend of mine bought his young son a Wii at a pawn shop with a couple games. I told him about backing up his games by softmodding with this guide and told him I would help him if he wanted. He is giving me the console today, my question is how can I tell if it has ever been softmodded/hardmoded before?

    Is it really gonna matter?

It wont matter if it was modified. This guide will overwrite the previous mods (if they exist). You could always run a sysCheck, though, if you really care.

You don't want to reformat the Wii, remodding on top of whatever state your Wii is in will result in the same sort of modding.

You might want to try to delete the game from your USB and reinstall the game using the game disk directly to get a clean rip. I had to do that to a few games when I backed up my games from wbfs-formatted hard drive back to my computer as .iso files when formatting to FAT32 and reinstalling the .iso games back to the hard drive. Most games worked, few didn't and had to be reripped.

Ok thanks, no I don't care and I don't think he will either as long as he can backup his games lol

When I installed the mod pack I don't know why I didn't get the part about prii loader on the HBC.

Is there a way I can re-install that pack?

Does the app pack need to be on the sd card and in the wii at all times??

How do I load my games to usb?

    Update:

I managed to install the priiloader pack manually following another thread.
