Why didn't you turn on "block disc updates"?

What is this and how to do that? My Wii did not have internet connected. Do I need to remove the extra channels that added by Skylanders Giants?

Did you follow this guide? I suspect not, otherwise this conversation wouldn't be taking place

Your Wii doesn't need an Internet connection to update, some games have updates packed on disc...your best bet is to follow this guide start to finish. It will install Priiloader and enable the proper update blocking hacks.

I know you aren't supposed to ask dumb questions and are supposed to have read through the guide multiple times and also have searched the site for relevant information before asking a question, but I would rather be safe than sorry and brick my wii. At the very beginning of the guide, it says make sure to have at least 350 free blocks of NAND space. I know you check this by going into the data management, but when I check the Wii memory, it says "Blocks Open: 46. I deleted a couple of the icons/save files I no longer needed, but each square only corresponded to one block of extra space. I counted all the squares that are available, including boxes without any games, and I only have 45 squares. If anyone could tell me how this corresponds to NAND space, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

You can't count the blocks yourself, you have to look at the bottom of the screen were it says "Blocks Open:" if it says 350 or more than you're good. The Wii has 512mb of space that's divided into blocks but I'm not 100% of the conversion rate. All I know is what I just said, blocks open is blocks open...less than 350 = delete more stuff.

I have seen many comments about the new wii remotes with motion plus and compatibility. Using the Letterbomb solution, if I go ahead and use the beta version of priiloader am I fine going through with the soft modding process with brand new wii remotes? And should applications such as usbloader work fine?

Okay, im sorry but i need help.

This is my 3rd wii softmod and my 2nd using this guide.

    I have a Wii 3.1u that is a virgin.
Im at chapter 1 and using the 3.0-4.1 Bannerbomb v1 method

I have 350 free blocks of nand space, Nothing plugged into wii and a SD card (2gb) formatted to FAT-32 (i used the format tool provided but that seemed to only format to FAT, but i have tried both ways with not luck)

So i downloaded the "WiiMod-58-61_Hackmii_1.1.0_BB1.zip" and extracted to sdcard.
When i go into channels then SD it ask it i want to load boot.dol
I say yes and it pops up another screen very quickly then the screen goes black and nothing loads.
    I have tried all the alternate files B, C, D and E
I think C and E actually locked up the device when i clicked SD in channels. Didnt even give me an opportunity to click yet to load boot.dol

So i am stuck. I cannot get WiiMod to load. What can i do?
