In terms of loader issues with games, at this point its just going to be little setting tweeks to fix loading blackscreens?
There are a lot of cool things you can do with your Wii. The Homebrew Browser will give you a list as well as descriptions of cool homebrew software. Take a look HERE.

If you run into any individual game problems, chances are there is a guide for it on this forum, so just do some searching and you will find!

Any ideas?
I would recoommend you launch the hackmii installer, uninstall the HBC, then reinstall it. Something obviously isnt working right, so that I think would be a good start.

Hi, in the first step the SD card is plugged into the Wii right? But I can't get on the Internet on my Wii (3.6) because it wants me to do a system update before I can access the shop channel? Any way around this or do I have to update?

There is no need to be connected to the internet in order to do this softmod.

D'oh! So you download the .zip file on your computer, plug the SD into the Wii and go from there? Thanks!

So, I've gotten stuck at multiple points in this nonsense. With my regular 2 gig SD card by SanDisk, I can't get letterbomb to function, even with reformatting. I've used Windows and two other programs to format to FAT and FAT32. I also have an SDHC by Dan Elec. That one will allow me to use letterbomb and install the Homebrew Channel. I can make it up to the point where I install the WADs. At that point, when I'm supposed to hit '1' to install all WADs, there's nothing on the Wii screen. It doesn't read the WADs off my SDHC. If I install the Homebrew Channel and then switch to the SanDisk, I can install the WADs but I get the error 1022. When I then reformat the card to FAT32 I can't get WiiMod to load. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Try using the Panasonic sd formatter to format your sandisk card. Also, make sure you run the md5summer to validate your extracted wads.

Does it make a difference between quick or full format?

Used the new format software, now I can't get the letter to show up. It's like every fix I use is making a new problem.

The problem im having is when i enter the usb channel (CFG Loader) instead of doing what it normally does and comes up with my backed up games, it just instantly loads a game and i cant select the game i want, should i update my softmod? or is it more likely an issue with CFG Loader? any recommendations would be appreciated. I tried this and also didnt work..BUT i think i worked out the problem, i had an after market nunchuck attached to a genuine wii remote and this seems to be what was causing the problem, seems if i took the nun chuck out home brew worked fine and i finished all the steps in this guide with no more issues. The Wii seems to be working the way it always had now and i also now have a few extra apps from updating which is cool.

Thanks to all who helped me out even know it seemed to be a remote issue? strange.
