Thank you 2 more times. Also successful on a 4.3U with letterbomb and a 3.1U with the first set of instructions. For any who care, it is important to get the first specific download in the 3-4.0 versus the 4.0-4.2. I thought they were identical, but kept freezing until I dl'ed the right file. Thanks again!!!

Try with AHBPOT mode or an IOS with the correct permissions.

    1 error occured...
    Error installing RVL-Wiisystemmenu-449.wad::
(-1022) Content did not match hash in TMD.

    Press any key to continue.
In wiimod go back to the main wiimod menu. Remove the sd card and go back to your pc.
Extract System Menu-4.1u-449.zip to the sd card, directly to the sd card. Run the md5 check on the 4.1u menu wad on the sd card. Take the card back to the wii. Reload ios to ios236 in wiimod. Go to the wad manager and install the 4.1u menu wad.

Cant Make Nand Backup, Wad Verifyer Crashes

Hi sorry if this has been answered, ive looked around and cant seem to find a thread matching my problem, so here it goes..

Also i am using a Mac Pro, and my Wii is 4.3u, and i used letterbomb 4.3u

First of all i cant seem to backup the nand, when i load HBC, then press home, the launch BootMii, it just goes to a black screen. i have tried pressing Power 3 times then the reset twice, but does nothin. also waited about 5-10 minutes to see if something would load, screen just stayed black/blank.
(the steps im trying to follow are posted below)

(''Load HBC, press -HOME-, launch Bootmii
    Make a nand backup
Press Power, Power, Power, Reset, Reset (yes we are talking about the buttons on your Wii console itself, or you can use a GameCube controller. If using the buttons on your Wii, press them quickly, do not hold them down)'')

Also When i try to verify checksums of the Modzip, the program u provided for mac users crashes instantly when opening the program. (SuperSFV)
I have tried searching simlar programs on google but have had no success finding anything.

any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks in advance,

    Thanks in advance,
For BootMii to boot, you need to have the original bootmii folder in the root of your SD card. If you deleted it or it's not working, launch the HackMii Installer (you don't have to use another exploit, use the sodtmods with HBC installed spoiler), go to the BootMii section and prepare your SD card.

As for the the hash checker problem, I don't know specifically of another graphical utility for OS X (they do exist, though), but I'm pretty sure you cnm use the md5sum utility through the command line. What version of OS X are you running? Maybe the program is incompatible with the version you have.

Hopefully this question will be an easy one. For some reason when I tried searching it just kept saying no results.... I have a previously soft modded Wii (few years old, white version). The Wii system menu that is currently on there is 4.2u. I haven't used the wii in over a year and would like to get back into it, but would like use newer features and be able to play newer games. Is there a recommended way to update to 4.3 and use the LetterBomb exploit, or do I simply follow this guide beginning at chapter 1? I just wasn't clear if following the guide would put me at 4.3, or if 4.2 is just fine with the updated IOSs that will be installed. I would prefer to be up to date, but not sure if it really matters.

Thanks in advance for your help

4.2 is fine with the updated IOS. Just start at part 1.

Sent from my A75 using WiiHacks. Please excuse grammar and punctuation errors, if any.

If it already has the HBC, follow the whole guide starting with the spoiler labled "Softmods with the HOMEBREW CHANNEL installed." Also, if you had read through the entire guide (or just the FAQ spoiler), you would've seen that it will give you the option to install SM 4.1.

This guide does not change your system menu unless you choose to downgrade to 4.1. System menus after 4.1 were only released to try and stop homebrew/hacking so there is no need to upgrade to 4.3.
