@eddie315west, I have the lan adapter mac address with all zeroes as well. I used 7zip for extraction. Are you certain you formatted the sd card to FAT32? How did you format the sd card? I used sdformatter.

Downgrade to/Upgrade to/Install System Menu v4.1 Need Help please

I posted yesterday that I was doing the downgrade, and received errors -6 I think. By the the time I got a piece of paper, I was back to the Wii Mod 3.2 Menu and Install System Menu: System Menu 4.1 with region , version, required, choose install where back listed as before. The guide said not to turn off the Wii and post to this thread. I don't want to brick my Wii. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

error-1 ? may be. that's SD card reading problem.

The guide said "not to turn off the Wii...", JUST follow exactly and you'll be fine. No brick.

Is 4.1x of your region successfully installed ?

oh i just thought that wasnt normal cant quite remeber ever seeing it or maybe i wasnt paying attention to that, yes and im certain i formatted properly and verified extractions and what not , this completely seems its something else...
i have done a bunch of wii's requiring the letterbomb this is the only effing wii lol being a pain and i think its due to the fact of what i stated in my original post with it . it seems like the when i downloaded the youtube channel and updated already being on a virgin 4.3u it must have downloaded something that blocks the letterbomb. havnt tried any of the disc methods yet but i might have to go to my local gamestore and grab one of the exploit disc and give it a try .funny thing is this wii is virgin no hardmod or softmod ever performed on it .

UPDATE: went out and bought lego indiana jones to try that method and guess what now when i place any properly formatted sd card with the files on it i get this The Device Inserted in the SD Card Slot cannot be used error on allmy sd cards even the sd card ive used on my other wii

im running out of suggestions here any help anyone ?

Update 2 F******** That Wii lol i lost my patience with it and sent it flying out the door and onto the middle of the street ! no more help needed !

Yeah, I also enjoy spending my hard earned money on things just to destroy them.

Wow, me too! I just smashed my 1TB hard drive, put the pieces in boiling water, and fed the mash to my pet dog.

    FACEPALM.

Really eddy315west, get a life. Really.

it didn't cost me anything to begin with.it was given to me. only money i spent on it was purchasing the the lego game . And if its mines why would anyone care what i do with it. do you care about people on YouTube smashing consoles, phones and what not on release days just because they got the money to do so ? i hope not ! anyways done ranting, its long gone now.

Anyways this is a great tutorial not saying it isn't because i have used it successfully quite a few times.its just i had an unforeseen issue that i lost my patience with .
