WiiFlow Not working
Had no issues with guid, no error etc, same with setting up a FAT32 HD and moving games onto it.
However WiiFlow just hangs on the WiiFlow logi with black background. My Wii drive flashes blue and it just sits.
if I disconnect my HD or put it top USB slot it starts, just not finding games as expected.
Drive and games are fine I think. USB loader GX (or whatever) sees them and plays just fine.
Black Wii running 4.3U
* Update *
I updated to WiiFlow 4.0.1 and its is working now.

Just dropped in to say this guide is awesome
I almost can not believe how complete and easy it was
Thanks for putting the guide and all the mod/app packs together
Within a half hour i updated my Wii to 4.1 and have brick protection/recovery option plus a set of updated apps and loaders(the longest part was the backing up part)
It even left my current emulator channels and old neogamma alone, plus still got my saves
Only thing that hanged on me once is wiiflow, and seeing this issue in other users post too i'd recommend to remove it from the app packs but hey, it might be to some use to some of you so i will just remove it from my wii myself
If i ever need to mod any Wii again, i will be using this tutorial without a doubt

Awesome guide! Saved me a LOT of time updating from a previous softmod. Everything worked perfectly.
I have a few suggestions but they're minor.
1. I noticed that the "SD file structure" within the guide is outdated, not major but figured I'd point it out since some people might get confused or delete files they don't see listed.
2. Shopping Channel Update is skipped a bit further down the guide (after IOS Update). I just repeated what I did with the other wads and IOS-UPDATE, and I would assume it went fine. Perhaps the guide can be updated to include this since people might skip it if they don't see the step laid out explicitly.
I plan to donate to WiiHacks but I'd also like to donate to you MauiFrog if you authored and update it, how can I do that? If you don't feel right about it, or I misunderstood and this is more of a collaborative WiiHacks effort, I'll just donate more to WiiHacks, but if you are the author and maintain it, I really do appreciate you taking the time to keep this guide up-to-date and clean. If you're not, and it's just mods/others that are maintaining it, THANK YOU! It's a real asset.

Requires a standard SD card, 1-2g scandisk is best. SDHC cards may or may not work, a lot don't. If SDHC doesn't work, don't blame us. Go get an SD...
Is there any danger in using an SDHC if it's been working?

I am going to softmod my Wii next week and this topic will surely help me, one question though this guide only softmods your Wii it does not let you play from USB port or a HDD right? For that we need to get a USB Loader right?
I've read a topic about USB loader and it mentions HBC (Homebrew Channel right?) so basically HBC is like the brain of this softmod, once you got HBC running and etc you can apply other changes such as the USB Loader, am I correct?

Pretty much yes. HBC will allow you to run custom software/apps. Just run through this guide step by step and you'll be set to run games via USB (external HDD). Just enter the HBC and use either CFG Loader, USB Loader GX, or WiiFlow. They all essentially do the same thing, so it comes down to user preference in terms of their bells and whistles. Make sure you have your HDD formatted properly.

Thanks a lot for the guide man, I just have one question and it may be a dumb one. I followed this guide completely, so does that mean that ios38 ios53 and ios55 are currently patched? or do I have to do that separate? Also do I just run wiiscrubber to get rid of all the junk data on the game iso and make it smaller? or do I need something else? And one more thing, in order to run apps such as USB loader GX, does the final sd card need to remain in the wii?
Thanks again everybody, this is a great website!

So it has to be an USB HDD, it can't be a flash drive? Thanks
