Thanks cjizzle for the reply. I have one more question. Once I followed the "Softmods with Homebrew channel installed" spoiler, do I then follow the "Part 2- Install The HomeBrew Channel and Bootmii" to install\overwrite my existing bootmii.

Alternatively are there any implications of installing the homebrew channel and bootmii or is this an update of the bootmii and homebrew channel.

    Thanks

    Hi, some help needed again.

I followed this guide and :
    a. Softmoded 3.4e - Installed homebrew
    b. Installed Bootmii as Boot2
    c. Backedup NAND.
    d. Applied the ModPack and Updated IOS.
    e. Intalled Priiloader.
    f. Then updated my Wii version to 4.1e .
    g. Applied the App pack

    Now the issues ;
i am using the Seagate Freeagent Go 320GB NTFS usb drive. It is connected to the lower usb port.
For testing i have created folder 'wbfs' on the drive and copied a game iso into it.
Configurable usb loader, usb loader GX, Neogama does not load the content i.e. does not show that there is any game on the USB.
wiiflow (only) does read that and i downloaded the covers . But when i play the game it crashes the wii. 9 remote gets disconnected, signals to TV disappear (goes blank). I have to restart the wii . but the problem still remains as described above . my son cannot play any game.

I was using the same hard disk with Wode and Wodeflow (on another Wii) loads the games without any probs.

You might try loading up your game iso using something like Wii Backup Manager. That converts the iso on your Windows computer folder into a wbs file type into the wbfs folder of your usb harddrive. As well, most modders have moved over to using the fat32 format as it's much more user friendly for your computer and wii alike as it can be shared with EVERYTHING. The Disk Management utility within Acronis Backup and Restore is excellent.
Config and GX are the most stable loaders IMO. Have fun!

We just got a used Wii and it is 4.3U. We dont have any games but from looking on first post it says we need certain games for 4.3u/e/j/k Disc Exploits. I was wondering can we use the 4.3 LetterBomb - No Game Disc Required.

Yes, you need to reinstall the Homebrew Channel. Reinstalling will update it and make it run on IOS58, which is required for a lot of apps.

Yes, you can use your Wii exactly like you did before the mod.

    Question on part 2

I'm ready to unzip the Modpack, IOS Update, and the Wii shop channel update to my SD card, but do I merge the wad folder of each together?
