    4.3 brick - me a silly boy

Got to the end of part1 chapter 2 without problem. On reboot no video output - just a screen on the TV informing me of no signal. Guess I have killed it anyone know of a way to get it back to life. Help would be much appreciated. Installed all 26 wads and all finished and declared OK.
    Cheers

Wow, blast from the past --- welcome back. Downgrading to 4.1 would only benefit Wii users who are also hardmodded (to avoid region changing lockout issues). Region handling can be via the loader for softmodders.

Any time you mod your Wii it's a risk. You have to be ready for the worst case scenario which would be that your Wii becomes a paperweight. The real world scenario is that your Wii will probably be ok though, so long as you can read and you follow the instructions here verbatim.

    Good luck to ya though!

So first i would like to downgrade to 4.1 but I don't get how. hat do I need? Please help me sorry I don't mean to be slow.
You can't just do these steps in any order. If you want to downgrade to 4.1, then you have to start from the beginning of the guide and work your way down to the bottom. Every step builds on previous ones.

    - Does the location of the wads matter ? It's a must they should be in SD / wad or any folder will do as long as there's wads in there ?
    - Is it completely safe to put the system menu wad in a batch install with the modpack ? Will the patched system menu ios be installed prior ? I heard something like don't downgrade native 4.2 to 4.1 or don't downgrade black wii's .
    - Does not Priiloader take it's settings from hacks.ini ? Why not provide a hacks.ini with BLOCK DISC UPDATES and ONLINE UPDATES enabled , the rest being up to the user ?

MMM bug : I tried to launch the WiiMc Channel Installer 1.5 with MMM but i got an error IOS 58 not installled , although it was . Launching with HBC worked just fine .
-The location of the wads only matters for some wad installers. I think you can browse in MMM, but for the best compatibility you should just keep them all in the WAD folder.
-Before you install the System Menu, you have to make sure that all the other wads installed without error, so I wouldn't recommend it.
-The hacks.ini file is a one-time-use file. Once you run Priiloader, the hacks are copied to the NAND, and can be edited from there. You can delete the hacks.ini file after that, since it is no longer needed. You can't auto-enable hacks.

Chapter 2 - Hacking your Wii

    Chapter 1 went smooth.

Already have Homebrew Channel installed plus the BootMii loaded (with NAND backup).

But for the life of me I am stuck on Chapter 2.

I have placed the ModPackAnyWii onto my SD card after formatting it. All check sums verifiy without error. I go to Homebrew, press Home and launch BootMii but the screen remains black. Am I missing something?

Also tried the IOS236 zip file and extracted that to the SD card but neither has done anything for me.

    Help please.

No, not unless your wii was previously modded and retained some of the mods. There is no way around it.

    Multi-Mod Manager

    Hi ,

I followed the guide and it works. I have one issue though. Everytime I start my Wii it goes to the Multi-Mod Manager. How can I stop this?

    Thanks
