    A few questions about WiiFlow:

    1) If I don't plan on using plugins (plenty of good games in the VC for me), is there a way to disable the plugin screen when looping between the Wii, GC, and WiiWare games?
    2) I've moved WiiFlow off of the SD card onto my HD... What steps would I follow to make the Wii start up straight into WiiFlow?
    3) I put on an emulated NAND (USB://nand/) for games only, not for saves or anything - I put three games on, and it worked perfect. Then I put several dozen more on with ShowMiiWads,
and none of them showed up when I plugged the HD back into the Wii.
    4) I downloaded the complete cover collection off of TheWiiDB, and copied them all into WiiFlow's covers folder - works well! Is there a similar place to get all the boxcovers all at once?

help with making gamecube game compatible

I just finished going through the guide to softmod my wii, which was previously softmodded with only limited success.
I have tested that I can use wiiflow to back up my wiiplay and then play it with another disk (ssbm) inside the wii.

However the original reason I started modding the wii was to play hex-edited gamecube games, so I now need to get gamecube games to load off the usb.
My usb is already formatted to FAT32 32kb. has wsbf and games folders in it with FEE01 (fire emblem path of radiance, iso compressed with discex) in the games folder. The wiiplay was put and tested in the SD drive because I did not think to change from SD to USB before installing it.

I looked at the DIOS-MISO tutorial at: http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...os-v2-0-a.html and saw that if using 2.2 you need a newer version of wiiflow or usblauncher and wanted to know if the ones included in this guide are new enough?

P.S. I did not have much luck finding version 2.0, the link didn't work properly, and I have not installed 2.2 on the wii yet, at least not after running through the steps of this guide in case somone suggests a better solution.

Once again: My goal, play gamecube games from usb; I have the disks and would be happy to back them up to usb once I figure out how

If you look in that Guide, you will see that they have links to the usb loaders.(It's right at the Top In Blue.)

    Or follow this Link.->Wiiflow Mod

I am not telling you to use an HDD to re mod your wii,I will never recommend doing so.

Please be aware we are not Responsible for anything that could occur from using that method, If you choose to.

I strongly believe you should use an Sd Card.
I will not choose to do that way, I just wondered about it I modded my wii with the method here and works everytime all the time I love it!!

    Or follow this Link.->Wiiflow Mod
Should I interpret that to mean the newest one, Wiiflow mod svn r615?

So if I download this and put on my SD card instead of the wiiflow that came with it and install DM 2.2 with WADmanager 1.7, I should then become able to backup gamecube games and play those ISO's using wiiflow, I hope

btw, when it asks which IOS to install with I saw people recommending d2x 56, how do I choose that?
is that just the same as IOS 249 which I think the guide installs d2x56 to? or do I need to scroll right to IOS 56?

i completed this softmod on an already softmodded wii, i did every possible step in this mod (updating all isos etc.) and now i get a "wii system memory full" pop up on my wii menu screen, is there any way i can safely fix this issue. i have very few saved games on my wii so i can only assume it was all of the wads.

If I want to install ekstra wads like channel forwarders. Do I need a special wad installer og can I use the wiimod in the beginning of the guide.
And can I just install these and then use the wii, or do I need to do something more afterwards like priiloader etc?

If that is the newest Wiiflow then , Yes.
You should be able to, and CFG/USB loader Gx are capable of doing the same.
Yes, you can use Cios249[56] to install the wad.
    Just scroll down to Cios249.

You were to make sure you had a certain amount of blocks free , before you started this Guide.
Go in to your setting, Game Data and delete some of your stuff to make room.

Yes you can use wiimod to install those wads as well.
If it's a forwarder Channel , then you will need to have the program on the sd card in the apps folder.
Forwarder channels look for the program on your sd card , which should always be in the apps folder.
No , you don't have to do anything special with Priiloader. Maraxion make sure you blockonline and disc updates, it will tell you exactly what to enable so follow that and you will be good.

if u ever installed a few wiiwares, it took up lots of Wii memory. Those are wad files, perhaps. Remove some and free ur Wii .

Hey I finally decided to softmod my wii today.. I've read through the guide many times but I'm not sure where I went wrong -- I'm trying to load games with the usb loader gx from my WD my book essential and it keeps saying "usb device not found" .. One time it did find the device and I saw my games on there - but when I clicked it nothing happened. I've tried formatting my hdd to fat32 and ntfs. I have a macbook pro if that helps, but I plugged my WD into a windows computer to make sure the partition was "active" - however this computer is very old & laggy and not practical for downloading any applications - so I have to do this through my mac.. Also, my wii is 4.3u. I have my games as .wbfs files saved in a folder called "wbfs" .. I made sure to plug into the proper usb slot too

I am very much a noob at this so I apologize in advance if I've done something completely wrong. I've spent the entire day trying to figure this out and searching the forums but nothing has worked. Also I have no idea what trucha bug means but it doesn't sound good ..

    Spoiler
