You only need the boot.dol, go to Google "Multi-Mod Manager WiiBrew"

Hey SNES_Master, I got it fixed, it was the LOCK switch on my SD adapter lol...
I got trought the guide with no problems! Just another quick question:
In the end where it says
Format your sd-card, one last time
ExtractAPP-PACK-V4.zip directly to your sd card

Should I do anything, like run Wiimod again or just leave the files on the sd card and place it on the Wii for the channels to work ?

    Thanks again!

    Wanted to update my Wii

I'm considering of updating my Wii due to the issues I'm encountering with big games like Smash Bros and Other M, hoping this would resolve it. Also wanted to get the latest Wiiflow because I was advised too that Wiiflow would automatically search for the right Game IOS.

Just wanted to post this for reference. I really appreciate all the help I'm getting here.

    Spoiler

Lmao, what a simple solution...I've had mine lock sliding into my comp and Wii...don't know why I didn't think of that lol

The last part is just to add apps to your SD card, they don't require installing since they run directly off SD. You could actually even just pick and choose the ones you want a delete the rest (that's what I did). So just extract the app pack to your SD root and pop it in the Wii, launch the HBC and you're all set. You'll see the apps there.

Redownload it and try again, it happened to me too. Make sure you follow the guide exactly. In my case I extracted the files to the wrong location.

Official updating won't offer any help, especially when you can update the IOSs yourself, plus, if you have a softmod, could potentially cause damage to your system...so I'm told. Your d2x cIOSs are still outdated (it appears you didn't take my advice last time you asked about this), as I previously suggested try updating them to d2x v8 Final and see if that helps. Also you may want to consider re-ripping the games using CleanRip and transferring them to your HDD using Wii Backup Manager (works with FAT32, NTFS and WBFS drives). If they still aren't working I'd advise looking up (or asking someone else who also has the game) which IOS the game needs to load, that way you can specifically select in the loader settings which IOS to load for the game (SSBB uses 223 I believe...maybe 224...haven't played it in a while). There may be other reasons the games are giving you problems but start with these tips and take it from there. Post back and let me know how it goes.

Hi! I didn't mean updating from Nintendo I mean updating it myself using the latest guides here. My Wii was softmodded just 2 months ago and not really sure about the steps of changing the d2x v7 to v8, will it overwrite it automatically?

i'm reading the guide again just to make sure where to put it, sorry I'm not really good at this and just making sure i'm doing it right.

Yup, when you install the d2x v8 Final IOSs they will overwrite your d2x v7s. I'll see if I can link the guide on how to update your d2xs. Hang on and I'll edit this post.

Ok, check this link and let post back after you try it.
D'OH! I forgot to paste it lol

MMM or WiiMod is really a matter of preference, you can keep MMM and it will work. As far as I saw on your SysCheck the d2xs is all you need but you can always wait for a second opinion. By that I mean go ahead and install the d2x v8 Final, but wait for someone to tell you if you need something else too.
