Had softmodded our new 4.3u wii, this guide is amazing as well as the persons who made the tools and the guide. Softmodding our wii's is a walk in the park, thanks to all.

Question, I'm at Chpt 1 part 1, my wii is 4.2u and I downloaded WiiMod-58-61-Hackmii_1.1.0_BB2.zip and extracted straight to the SD (already formated to fat32). Problem is when I put the SD in the wii it doesn't run and nothing shows up in the blocks... I tried downlaoding B and C, but all i get is the 'private folder'... When I tried to run it off that the wii tried to load something but just froze... What am I doing wrong?
Ok... so i found that when i extracted the file to the SD it sent a folder with all contents inside, so I just extracted contents to the SD instead and now its running... my main issue now is that I'm during this on a previously modded wii with an older softmod, so it asked me if it wanted me to updated several files, i said yes, and now I'm stuck on a screeen that says
Getting IOS 9 revision 1034 installing to 9 revision 1034
Could not open files: sd:/IOS9-64--v1034.wad
Could not open files: sd:/wad/IOS9-64-v1034.wad
Could not open files: sd:/wad/wiimod/IOS9-64-v1034.wad
I reset my wii... don't know why I only see 2 wad files in the wad folder, maybe its supposed to be that way?
What should I do?

Finished Instructions, Games wont load on Wii
Hi there, I followed all of the instructions to the T but now when I connect my fat 32 HD to my wii with games that i've formated through wbfs, they wont load through any of the apps.
When I click USB loader for instance, i'll press start, and then the screen will go black for a bit, and then right back to the wii menu. This happens to all of the loaders.
What can i do to fix this?

Can't see any WADs on SD card after ios236 is installed (guide v12)
I am following this guide (v12). Chapter 2, Part 1, Wad Installs. Checksums are OK.
When I run Wad Manager from WiiMod I saw all wads there. Pressed 1 to install all.
It seems to me the last message I saw was "reloading ios236" or something like that. And I got an empty screen (just a blue header with "WiiMod ... " on the top).
I waited and waited - nothing. I did forced power off (holding power button).
Started Wad Manager from WiiMod again. And I can't see any wads there - the line above is showing the path and telling me I am in the \WAD folder. But it is showing the root folder. If I try to go into WAD folder the path on the top looks like \WAD\WAD. And I still can see all folder from the root folder. I can keep going "deeper" but I am still in the root folder.
I did formatted the card with recommended utility from this guide. I put all wads back. But it didn't make any difference. I believe I failed to install all wads. So I didn't try the rest.
I tried the extra step from this guide to install ios236 separately. But again it didn't make any difference. So it looks like WiiMod can't read WAD files once ios236 is installed.
Do you have any ideas about it?

That part only installs the first 30 Wads.... Then u continue and install the next set & third set & the other optional ones (Shopping Channel & Menu)... Once u'r completely sure u'r done installing all the Wads u want to install... Then U finally B - Exit out to the main menu and hit Home to go back to the Home Brew Channel....

You could... But I would not recommend it... Specially coming from a different method.... When ever there is a update to this guide I always start from Chapter One... The only part I skip is creating a NAND backup since I already got the original & this is the only guide I've ever used to mod my Wii... I would recommend u do the full guide at least the first time to establish u'r Wii's base on any problems u might have in the future...
