I got it. I must have hit up on controller when i thought i was on system menu 4.1 and got into Channels.
Before that, I redid the md5summer verify sums step and saved the results this time...last time i didn't. It doesn't say to do so in the Guide.

What IOS version does the USB Loader GX; CFG Loader & WiiFlow in the App Pack v4 use.... I plan to update them to the latest version before doing the first run.... And they usually have multi IOS versions of them... I think CFG Loader normally is ISO 222 but not sure about the rest... The latest USB Loader GX comes in ISO 222; 249 & 250 versions...

Thanks. Ended up being my SD card adapter. Was using a dane-elec (i think) and had a Kingston I found. (BTW, micro-SD to SD adapter)

I'm up and running now, kids are playing games off a 16Gb micro-SD USB adapter now until I get a portable HDD.

    Question

Got wii on ebay and it was 4.2E and a message told me to update so i did and now its 4.3E.
Followed your Tutorial step by step. It seems to work but when i plug in hard drive to load games to usb loader gx, it loads and then goes to main menu.
I tryed the other loaders and they dod the same.

hard drive is formatted with wbfs manager.

please can you tell me where i have gone wrong?

    Thanks for your time

great guide have used it many times and posted here and there but today well=

i got a 4.3 wii already softmodded by unknown source with just the wii the sd and power lead for £20! bargain off gumtree! borrowed the bits i need till my ebay buys turn up this is what i did

followed the guide from allready softmodded
    installed all wads
    installed priiloader
    shut off before setting hacks
formatted sd unrar'd app pack v4 to sd
    booted wii>priiloader all good
went to set hacks = no hacks hash ini msg

so i think that i should of set my hacks before formatting for app pack yes?
any one could plz advise on what to do now?
maybe find priiloader wad and put in app folder manually?
    thanx for reading
    popeye

went through guide again and manually placed priiloader in the apps pack v4 prior to format
    thanx

    @off the hook
is the sd card in with app pack v4 unrar'd on it
sounds like your getting dumped back to sm because the apps not behind the forwarder?
also wbfs is no longer recommended there is a guide in pob 3008 sig and im pretty sure there is a program round here that converts on the fly from wbfs to fat32 so you dont have to store elswhere while you format
    good luck
    popeye

Thank you so much. I deleted the pack v4 and added it again to the sd card and installed gx loader and works fine with wbfs manager.

    Thanks again
