Only Site Donators Can PM Staff
You need to get the forwarder dol from the All In One package HERE. Put it on the root of your sd, install it with priiloader, then set priiloader to boot to installed file.

I have another question, how can you determine whether a scrubbed backup file (iso) is PAL or NTSC-U?

New here...just a couple of questions
My Wii is a virgin...I've never softmodded anything before, so I'm very very new to this. I've read many sites and watched many videos on the subject, and I have a couple of questions before I get started with this...
My Wii is white with system menu 4.3u. I've only had it for about a year. I have a Sandisk 4GB SD card already in my Wii (yes, it is SDHC) and I've never had any issues with it. At the moment I use it for WiiWare games I've purchased in the Wii Shop. I've seen on some recent videos (YouTube) that people say it doesn't matter what SD card you use to softmod a Wii. Would I be okay to use the one I already have since it already works in my Wii, or do I have to buy a new one? If the card I have is okay, then once I've softmodded my Wii, would the card be okay for me to continue to use to play my WiiWare games on? In other words...can I move the games from the card to my PC, and then once softmodded put them back on it again to be played as before? I would hate to lose the games I bought, and I don't have enough space on the Wii itself to move them there.
Also, once I've softmodded the Wii, do I need to keep any of the files used on the SD card to do it, or should I delete them after?
As I said from the start...I'm very new to this, so please don't be rude to me. I'm just trying to make sure I get everything done right before I try anything and risk bricking my Wii. Thanks

For the Sd card, You should use a 1gb or 2gb Sd card (SanDisc) But some Sdhc can get the job done.Check Here.-->Sd/SDHC Compatibility List
As for your wiiware games on your Sd card...if you look on your sd card you will see a "Private" folder, that has your Games in it.(WiiWare Etc.)
Copy that to your computer and save it ,then transfer it back after your done with the mod.
Make sure you have enough space on your wii to do this Guide,I believe you need 350 blocks.
The last step of this guide explains that, you will have the applications needed on your wii..after you format your Sd Card one last time.(Format = Deleting Of Everything.)
Please read the Guide A few times ,then proceed.

I have a wii that I bought in the States in 2006 as I was living there at the time.
I would like to get Homebrew on my wii but am having some problems that I can't seem to find answers to.
I have been to many sites and tried the Zelda etc...but to nothing.
I can't go into Wii Settings as I get error FIX/US/ENG/index01.html so I don't know what menu version I am using. (I may be wrong but I thought Wii is wireless and I have wireless internet....right next to my wii!)
When I tried Zelda technique I got to copying hackzelda to wii and had error 'may not have been copied'.
I try other method and get 'Question Marks' in the small windows 'boxes' to click on
I can't search through thousands of pages so any help would be invaluable, even if its just a point in the right direction!

Does this work on the new new wiis?
Hello I would like to know if the new wiis, the ones that are not gamecube compatible can be modded. I read something at the beginning of the guide about new controllers having compatibility issues but it seems that's all fixed. I know it says it works with all wiis but I just want to make sure since it doesn't say specifically that it will work with the new non GC compatible wiis.

Wii now stuck in 4:3
Firstly, thanks for the in-depth instructions. I followed them to the tee (I think), and they went 92% problem free.
So about that 8%... The main problem I have is that my Wii appears to be stuck outputting an image with a 4:3 aspect ratio. When the system settings on the Wii are set to 16:9, the screen is squished horizontally in a 4:3 image. When I change the setting to 4:3, the screen is no longer distorted... but of course, I'm still looking at 4:3 image. It's not my TV, either, as that is in 16:9 mode.
I first noticed this problem after chapter 2, part 3 -- loading Priiloader and making the recommended changes within that menu (along with enabling two other hacks that the author didn't suggest: disabling NoCopy and auto-pressing A at the health screen, but I doubt those would have this effect).
Anyone know what could be the problem?
Thanks very much in advance.
Yes, it will work with ANY Wii.

Problems installing WADs
I'm new to the wii scene and I'm currently having trouble installing the WADs as stated in Chapter 2 part 1. Specifically, where it says..."select WAD Manager then press A".
Well, after I launched bootmii and then MMM starts, the first on the list was APP Manager. The WAD Manager was some ways down the list, but when I tried going to it by pressing the directional buttons, nothing happens. In fact, none of the buttons seem to respond.
At first I thought it just hanged due to some stupid **** I did unwittingly.... but when I resetted and tried again, the same thing happened. Then I tried the alternate method, when MMM doesn't start(even though it did start, it was just non-responsive after being launched). So I downloaded and installed the patched ios236...and long story short, it still produced the exact same thing....MMM starts but can't go down the list and choose any of the options.
My question is....is this a controller problem or did I miss(or screwed up) a step somewhere somehow?? If it is a controller incompatibility problem, is there anyway around it, or am I stuck for now ? Hopefully it's just me missing a step in the guide.
If anyone could help me out in this, or just any ideas at all, I would very much appreciate it.
Oh, and my Wii is 4.3E with motion plus controller.
Thanks in advance.
