I downloaded the link for the format tool for the SD card ( i think its panasonic ), but it doesn't allow me to format to fat32 which the default is only fat and no dropdown available.

I'm just going to utilize the SD converter which windows 7 came with. Is that ok?

You can format to fat32 from the command line the command is: format {drive letter}: /FS:FAT32

Make sure the Checksum's check out.

Don't proceed until they do Check out.
do you access checksum's by right clicking the file? I tried and right click but I don't see checksum available.

    EDIT:

There is a program in the CIoS pack that checks it for you. md5summer.exe

go to the search bar in your windows start menu and type command. Open command prompt when it pops up and use the command I gave you. Type cd/ first to take it to root.

hope I figured this one out already, this is what I got from doing checksums:

so far I did this with the .md5 files that I have based from the guide. but i'm not sure how I should line up all the folders in the sd card. shall I take all files out of its folder or it doesn't matter at all?

thanks all for the help guys.

Everything stays in the folder they are in.

This is how it should look on your Sd card.

You should have this file structure on your sd card

    Your Welcome!!

No sound after doing this soft-mod

I went through everything exactly as instructed. Have ripped two games but I have absolutely no sound when playing the games from the hard drive or directly from a disc. I don't even get any sound from the home screen when first turning on the Wii itself!!! HELP

Try pushing the audio cables in a little farther on the tv. It's not mod related.
