    Nand Backup

Hey all, just a quick question, after updating my wii with the new CIOS etc (thanks for the awesome guide btw) i wanted to backup my nand again but when ever i am in the HBC and try to load up bootmii it loads up MMM. and there is no option to backup the nand there (that i can find)

I've tried with a blank sd card (apart from bootmii etc) but still loads to MMM via cboot2.

I like to backup once in a while just before i do anything new to my wii, just in case.

so how do i do a backup now?

    Cheers Crimzon

Instead of loading wad games onto the wii nand first,is there a way to bypass that step and load them onto SD card or Hard drive first. Up till now I was installing them on Nand and then moving them to SD card. If there is a program that does it automatically , could you point me in the right direction.
Thanks a lot. I have been away from site for 6 months, and figured NEW ways to do stuff is always coming out, so, what is the newest way to put wiiware on SD card or HDD without putting it on nand first.

What does this have to do with the guide? Look into nand emulation and post in the appropriate place.

You should have fully quoted skellinator. And reading the guide helps too...

OK seanludo, we have both answered this question. Maybe you are the one who isn't asking it correctly.

Bootmii backs up your Wii. Priiloader blocks updates. You asked "How do I back up my Wii?" The answer is "With Bootmii". This is fully explained in Chapter 1 of the guide, the part about doing a NAND backup.

Now, if you really meant to ask "How do I block updates, since priiloader doesn't work", well that is an entirely different question.

Well all I would like to know is how do I install priiloader on my wii? with a c4 controller.

Is the only solution to simply buy an older remote?

Depends. Did you do the downgrade to 4.1 or are you still on 4.3?

Sent using the WiiHacks app. Please excuse the brevity, punctation, and spelling.

not yet as I read this but i take it its safe to go from 4.3 to 4.1?

Never downgrade system menu of newer wii models
System menu versions less then 3.4 do not support newer wii hardware. Downgrading a newer wii will result in a brick.
Example- Downgrading a newer wii to 3.2 could brick it.
