Excellent. That worked.
Hold in the reset button while powering on your Wii to access priiloader. Once priiloader comes up, wait a few seconds then quickly press the reset button. The system menu should load. Try syncing them from there.
Excellent. That worked.
Hi. I bought a new Wii for a couple of days ago and i used this guide to softmod it. I installed the USB Loader GX, but everytime I try to run a game by clicking on it then everything turns black and it just keeping a noise. How to fix this?
-format the SD card
-unzip wad packs to SD card
-while in homebrew channel insert SD card into wii
I still get the same black screen.
Why do I need to prepare the SD card when I have to format it afterwards ?
So I tried without formatting
-run letterbomb hackmii installer
-prepare sd card
-delete letterbomb's "boot.elf" file and "private" folder off the SD card
-Run homebrew channel
Using this method I get the same BootMii menu as i got during chapter 1 (this : BootMii), Multi-Mod Manager (this : Multi-Mod Manager) doesn't seem to appear. Does it do so automatically or do I need to press one of the buttons on this BootMii screen ?
I'm sorry for being extremely clueless and your patience is much apreciated ^^
Hey guys, this is a really great tutorial thanks. Just a quick question. When i get to the wad installer part i cannot use the remote to select wad installer. The wii remote just blinks or turns off. The only button that works is the off button. Thanks guys.
Ok just read some other comments in this thread. Would a generic remote for wii work?

-Download WiiMod 3.1 from HERE. (It has been recompiled to use the new Wii remotes)
-Extract the wiimod_v3_1\card\app\wiimod folder directly to the apps folder on your SD card. (or alternatively extract the file to your pc, then copy the wiimod folder to the apps folder on your SD)
-Insert SD card into Wii and launch Wiimod from the Homebrew Channel
-Select Wad Manager and install the wads
Wiimod is very similar to MMM. It does however contain some advanced features that you should not use unless you know exactly what you are doing. It does have some built in brick protection, but still, don't go cowboying with stuff
Great thanks for that it worked Just wondering is there a Priiloader that works with the new remotes?
