    Really? Didn't know that...

EDIT: OK I was being a smartarse and not helping, my bad... Did you try it? In the HBC press the home button then launch bootmii. Then quickly press the power button on your console 3 times to get to the gears symbol. Try it.

I was joking....it works fine. My bad I shouldnt have done that....

Just to verify, I just used the buttons on my NON-boot2 console and it worked just fine.

    hi its me again......
before i start id like to thank everyone involved in the site/guides. you are all very clever and generous people for making this public knowledge and most importantly EASY for people with no computer experience to do.
    now to my problem,
i have soft-modded a friends wii for them, its in poor condition but was working fine no issues at all but her kids had wedged pennys in sd slot so when i was doing it i had to push it in (no click but recognised working and done no issues) played a few games to verify work and sent back, now its code dumping/crashing/hanging and she wants it sorting out
its a boot2 wii and i have a nand back up
i was going to reinstall al the guide again and see if that does it but if not can i return to standard? ie; remove softmod to get rid of this issue? im thinking that the sd isnt reading properly (no failed wads on install though) causing the crashes but i don't know
(by the way all wads installed correctly and md5 checksums reported no errors)
any advice would be appreciated greatly
    adey

I have a Wiimote plus that came with a Wii I purchased last week. And I don't have any other Wiimote to try.
    Am I SOL.
    Hello,
I am also running into this barrier. I've been reading softmodding guides for a few days and have tried two of them now. Each time I come across a portion of the steps that fail because the Wiimote becomes desync'ed. In the case of this guide, when i enter MMM exactly as instructed to the wiimote becomes desynced and pressing the console buttons causes them to do thier power function/reset function rather than the navigation function as the guide suggested. I understand that many of these softmod components needed to be recompiled in order to get them working with the newer wii bundle (that's what i purchased). Does anyone know if MMM was recompiled yet or not? thier site doesn't mention this change in their bullet list of recent changes.
Thanks for any ideas, suggestions you may have that can help me get past this step.

Is there anyway to fix this? It basically says either load from SD or eventually tried to load from NAND.

I'm loading the channels from the SD card, the games from the USB HD.

Should add that it works fine with CFG loader and USB loader GX, but I can't play my Modern Warfare 3 backup on those. It only seems to work with wiiflow.

(Posted before but it got lost, deleted and reposted)
Maybe you could try making a FAT32 partition at the end of the drive. I've done that with my Wii, so the HDD has a NTFS partition followed by a FAT32 partition and it works great with USBLoaderGX. I don't think I've tried WiiFlow yet though, but maybe I should if it's the only loader that works for MW3 'cos maybe it will let me play Tintin as well, which keeps crashing with USBLoader GX

MW3 works with all the latest loaders provided you have the correct cIOS, that being one with a 57 base. This guide installs that into 250.
