My advice would be to use priiloader to allow the disc channel to be moved. Move it to another page. Then move the backup channel to the upper left and call it a day. BTW, discs stink. USB Loading FTW.

Blu, when you say "play via the backup channel" do you mean the backup disc channel?
    Or is there another app?

Blu: So, my disc drive does not need to be able to "play" the retail disc? Are you saying I should be able to copy the game via cfg without my drive working properly?? Thanks again!!

If your drive is dysfunctional, I wouldnt expect it to be able to play or rip. Find a friend, rip at their house, and bring it back, or fix your drive.

Blu: The drive is brand new and functional! It plays older retail games from disc channel but can't play newer games, such as disney universe. That's my problem, I want to copy disney universe but the drive won't read it and I'd like to copy it to my usb hdd! That's why I was asking what the issue could be? Such as a ISO issue? I have all the most recent ISO updates and even reinstalled them last night...still no go!

Can someone please help me out...
Like I said, I have a new black wii (bundled with SMB) and no GC remote support. I CANT navigate in BootMii (IOS) to install the WADs in WAD manager. The buttons in the front don`t work. It simply resets or just shuts off the power. Eject tries to eject the CD. The buttons simply do their functions.

@ghost085 - Are we talking about originals or backup discs? If you're talking about originals, you can likely just rip it with your loader and launch per usual. When using usb loading, it uses different IOSes (cIOSes) to launch the title. When you say the drive wont read it, do you mean you take the original, try to launch from disc channel, and get a black screen?

If the ORIGINAL game is not loading, it's likely that you havent updated to the latest IOS. I dont know what IOS Disney Universe uses offhand, but if you get the IOS update in this guide and batch install, you'll have latest official IOSes. (These are NEVER used for USB Loading!)

Quick presses are the key. It will work. Now having said that, getting to BootMii IOS would be to make a NAND backup. You dont need to go into bootmii to get to a wad manager.

So how else do I install WADs then?
I was pressing quickly, because it worked when I was trying to create the backup (the screen with the 4 icons).

But in part 2 of the guide, it says to press the home button on the HBC na launch bootmii. On THAT screen I can't navigate.
I can't go down to the third point (WAD manager) on the black DOS-like screen. The buttons just act as normal, and the remote shuts off. I hope you know what screen I am talking about.

This is the part where I can't navigate:

Start HBC, press [HOME], Launch Bootmii
    Multi-Mod Manager Starts (via cboot2)

Never Uninstall IOS, or SM you will brick your wii
Never Uninstall IOS, or SM you will brick your wii

Select "WAD Manager" - Press A
Press (1) to "Install all Wads" - Press A
30 wads should install without error
    "Press any button to continue"
Taken from the first page of this thread.

EDIT: But I installed bootmii as IOS since I have the new wii bundled with SMB.
