If you followed this guide and set up priiloader correctly, yes.

Sent with WiiHacks app, that should explain any typos 8-p

I followed this guide twice right down to the letter...the first time it worked great but my kids were a little abusive and within a year the disc drive died...I moved over to HDD loading, but that didn't work out so well...I'll get another HDD and make that happen again sometime...but with no HDD and no disc drive, I consider that one to be beyond my reach right now...fortunately I can get a wii pretty cheap at the pawn shop, and thanx to you guys I can make an old used one better than anything I can buy in the store, so I ran thru the guide again last night...can you believe I am 2-0 now...I feel like a pro even though I am a rank amatuer...I am unimpressed by the fact that there are some technogods who can do this, what blows my mind is their ability to dumb it down so far that I could follow along and mod my wii not once, but twice without the slightest issue...thanx is such an insignificant word to express my gratitude, but its all I got...thanx so much for making the extremely complex so ridiculously simple for a beginner like me

I have been redoing the installation on my Wii for a while now, due to the problem of Skyward Sword needing to update every time I try to play it, and its been some time since I last checked back here. I'm simply wondering if there has been an update to the modding to allow SS to load properly without needing to update the Wii, thereby removing the mods and forcing me to redo it when I want to use them again.
Can anyone help me out here?

I guess you do not have priiloader installed and set to block updates do you?

I am currently facing some issues to load my external hard disk with games onto my wii.
Here are some brief introduction to the mods done on the wii/external hard disk.
-Installed / Modded with Homebrew Channel
-Installed / Modded with WiiFlow, Configurable USB Loader, NeoGamma & USB Loader
-Wads and files installed using guide from "Guide: Softmod ANY Wii"
*Basically, i think my wii was modded just perfectly fine according to the instructions.
-Western Digital Passport (500GB)
-Tried formatting using WBFS Manager, managed to load games onto external hard-disk as .wbfs files
-Manage to load games, but unable to load games on Wii using WiiFlow, Configurable USB Loader, NeoGamma & USB Loader. It did not even list my games for instance Mario Kart / Call of Duty / Need for Speed.
*FAT32 with Wii Games Manager
-Manage to format external hard disk to FAT32 format, loaded games through one of the programme from this forum (Wii Games Manager). However, just like WBFS manager, its not able to load any games using WiiFlow, Configurable USB Loader, NeoGamma & USB Loader.
I really appreciate if you could help me out a little and guiding me on how to play games through my external hard disk even when i did follow all instructions.
Thanks for reading.

I'm pretty sure I set it each time since the last time I asked about this, I was told to follow the guide once more. But when I put the disk in, I was prompted to either update or not be able to play the game. Maybe I skipped that...guess its time to go back to the drawing board and try again! I'll be back if it doesn't work though. x-x''

Ok, so I'm a little confused of where to begin. I had previously installed the HBC and bootmii as boot 2 on my Wii 4.3 using letter bomb. I had then reformatted my SD card. I was following another guide at the time which I learned wasn't that great.... So I started this guide and I'm at the part where I'm going to make my nand back-up. I have the reformatted SD in my Wii, I go to HBC, hit home select BootMii and then I hit power, power, power, reset, reset. Then nothing happens. I ended up resetting the Wii. So, do I need to reinstall anything on my SD?
