    1) The list says I should have "USBLoaderCFG.dol", but it didn't come in any of the modpacks. Do I need this right now? Where should I get it?

    2) The list says I should have "cIOS245[37]-d2x-v7-final.wad". The file that came in the packs is "cIOS245[37]-v7.wad". The same is true for cIOS 246, 247, 248, 249, 250, and 251. Are these okay to have? (I assume it's just a different name structure, and not actually a different file, but wanted to check.)

Everything else is fine, so I just need to double-check these before I can move on with my mod process. Thanks for any help!
Cant answer your first question (sorry) but as for your second question, don't worry - the file is the same.

Yes, you are right, but i read somewhere while surfing and searching what new 4.3 offers, it seems i found wrong info , you know today everbody are "experts" ... Yes Nintendo tried to block hacking, specially after banner bomb on 4.1, they published 4.3, but it's bad that somebody who wants to use wii shop channel on 3.4M pop up system message "you have to update OS" bla bla... I didn't see some tutorial for manually updating firmware on 4.3 version here, maybe will be good to make some tutorial for this thing, to avoid possible blocking softmoding, havter online update, i risked ...

I just would like to share my expirience with all nice people lke you and other staff who help many of us here ...

    Hi all.
Quick question. I've used this guide several times to softmod Wii's for friends. I just updated my own Wii, Well not an update but a reinstall of this guide.
I never have any problems using guide, it's best one out there. This is not a problem, but i seemed to missed the changing system to 4.1. I'm still on 4.3E.
Should i just leave it at that. If i wanted to change it would i have to follow all steps again from this point.

    Thanks, Great guide.

The 4.1 sm is optional. You do not have to do it. If you decide to go back and do it then you will need to reinstall priiloader. The rest of the mod will still be intact.

Glad i don't have to go through from the 4.1 sm option.

    Thanks for you.

Maybe I should undo the softmod and redo everything again?
i had the same problem and it wasnt my HDD 'cause it was working on my other Wii. so i checked my SD card and it went south, so i replaced it with a new one loaded the appps and voila everything was back to normal.

    Once hello ,

i softmoded my Wii before 1 month, with 4.3E on it (newer white console, it came with 4.3E), and when i moded it, in that period in this wonderful guide was

CIOS-PACK-V5 and APP-PACK-V2, now it seems you put newer versions with

    CIOS-PACK-V6 and APP-PACK-V3 ...

Do i need to install this CIOS-PACK-V6? And is it enough for me just to extract APP-PACK-V3 of previous formatted SD CARD, for newers version of usb loaders, and some new features from APP-PACK-V3, like possibility of selecting new themes of hbc, etc. ? If i understood good, channels like usb loader, gx, neo gama, etc. which are now on my SM, are something like shortcuts for application which are located on SD CARD inserted in Wii SD slot?

This is actually a great question.

On the Wii main screen click on the Wii round logo.....

Wii option>Data Management>Channels. Click on the channel you want to delete and do it. This is the easy way. The hard(er) way is to use MMM or WAD Manager and delete the channel if it is one that exists in .wad format in your wad folder on your SD card. If not, go with option #1.
